My feelings on The Demon Rush
I figured it only made sense to give community marathons their own board. They're not quite the main marathons, but at the same time, they don't belong in the gaming discussion board.

Maybe just have a more general event section? Not just for SDA marathons, but for other events like SRL Seasons.

SRL Seasons isn't really a marathon, so it shouldn't be on this board. However, SRL-organized marathons like #smw marathon, or something similar to Sandython are welcome to use this board.

I like this idea, it gives other Speedrunning marathons some exposure. It also highlights what marathons are upcoming besides the official SDA marathons such as SGDQ '13.

Thanks for all of the positive responses!

I thought this board was only common sense after seeing how many community marathons are going on. That and The Speed Gamers already have a community marathons board.

BTW, I have some notes I've given a couple of people about organizing marathons. If people are interested, I can clean them up a bit and post them in this board (in a separate post).
