Hello, I downloaded this file from ftp and http and both times not work, this only file not work, the rest work, please reupload, thankyou kind sir :slave:

I tried to play the file with Windows Media Player and indeed it didn't work.
Then I tried to play it in the VLC Media Player, and it worked Wink

What could be the reason?
The only reason I can think off is that it would be accidentally encoded with h.264? Smiley

Hehe, don't think so. I wouldn't know where to begin.

I've watched the run through on HQ so I know the original files were fine, but that part is indeed corrupted. It doesn't play on WMV, it only goes up to 2:28 with DivX video, and I'm not sure about VLC because it crashed.

I don't have them on my computer but I'm sure I kept the backup files; though I cannot access them at the moment. I doubt Radix has kept them either so it'll take a while before they can be reuploaded.

In the mean time, I can only suggest you download either the NQ or the IQ. Too bad about this, I think it's a really good segment Wink

Sorry. I didn't forget, but I haven't been able to access the netdisk recently so I'll have to actively search to find out what's wrong.

As soon as I get the chance I'll do so! Then it's just a matter of hoping it didn't get deleted Tongue

Hmm...

I was just trying to watch the "Metroid Prime Hard 22% 1:28 HQ" Run, and this file:

MetroidPrime_hard22p_128_HQ_part04.avi

Has the exact same problem as with the Thief 3 part13 file... Smiley

Hmmmm, maybe try to download them again? I'd download the vids and check them for you for you, but my internet connection doesn't allow me to do it fast enough :-/

EDIT: Check if the md5 of your file and the one listed here match. To generate the md5 hash of a file, use This program. Just drag and drop file you want a hash for into the window.

I've downloaded part04 again and now it works.
The file sizes are not equal so probably something went wrong while I downloaded part04 some time back, but I can't remember that something went wrong Smiley

I've tried that hash program and ofcourse it gives me 2 different hashes... Roll Eyes

So now I know that whenever I encounter a part that's not working properly, I need to download it again Wink

I finally succeeded in accessing my files, and I still had the original avi. So I've recompressed and sent it.

Just check the page every now and again and it'll be up at some point!

Thankyou, I got the file and watched it, now I have the whole collection, i will hold on to them, I will likley burn them all to a cd. Cheesy
