I'm addicted to games

My stress level is through the roof because of my asshole landlord company. I'll probably have to end up suing them. Unfortuntely the site is the first thing to suffer. I can't deal with the stress of both it and this at the same time. I've added StrangessDSS as a mod on the forum becase we agree on its policies.

I'll continue to work on things but it will be slower as I need to just relax or I will go insane.

I remember the news post about the landlords. I can't remember exactly what was said in it, but as evidenced here, it's obviously really shitty. I would suggest hitting those bastards where it hurts, or contacting a bunch of SDA members over so we can lay the beat down on them.

But as for the stress parts, I think everyone can respect that. And if they can't, well, think of Holy_Moly for a moment..... No one's asking you speed things up, so to speak, so I would suggest relaxing as well. Either that or a big ass vacation. I would like to speak for the whole community in saying that we respect what you do for this site. Go as slow as you'd like.

Take as much time as you need, Radix. I'm sure that each and every one of use here appreciate what you do for the site. I'm not sure what exactly is happening with you and your landlords, but I hope you're able to find the legal help you need.

Until you're ready to continue the site, relax, take a vacation.

But I'm going to work my ass off to help the site I enjoy so much.

You know what they say about landlords; they almost always flinch if you smack them upside the head with an eight pound sledgehammer. (Reflectively) Ahhh, so profound.

Radix, the near utopian website you've created is so enjoyable and well-developed, that I'm sure it can run solo for a matter of weeks, or for whatever timing shall be adequate. You've done a phenomenal job so far, and you deserve some time off.

Even if there weren't questionable hoodlums involved that were plaguing your life, you probably would've been due a decent break, anyway. Do what you need to do; I'm sure some delightful runs will be cooked up in the mean time.

I skimmed that whole string of news updates when I first came here. I saw it, and sort of laughed. I wake up randomly in the middle of the night with no provocation. Other nights there could be a firetruck outside my window (I'm on the 2nd floor) and I won't wake up.

Regardless, I would've thought that if the update is.....*checks* 2 weeks old, he would have, assuming it's noise related, A)bought earplugs or B) find a good friend whose couch you can bum out on for the night. Or C) Grab a baseball bat, locate the source, and beat it a couple of times to make it shut up. Or just make go 'splode in one loud noise, and then there would be silence.

Although logic is lacking when one is dead tired (I would know), you would've thought he would've beaten the landlord to death or sued them already, as he's already mentioned.

No ear plug except airport style will block this 70-80 dB noise. Can't sleep in those.

I can't sleep on a friend's couch EVERY FUCKING NIGHT.

I can't bash pipes that are on the other side of the wall/ceiling.

I just got an idea of what you might do to be a little less stressed (maybe...)

Why not choose one day per month or something where you don't need to worry about the site and do some other stuff. That way, you're sure the site won't blow up our moniters but you can still rest enough.

I'm gonna draw you a really crappy GET WELL card now :P.
