I love YaBB 1G - SP1!

Okay, so this console was just unveiled about 90 minutes ago, and I gotta wonder if I'm the only one who's excited about this console here. It's even been revealed that it will have the Skyrim Remaster, which means the console has to be at least PS4 level power or slightly higher. The controller is pretty great too. It looks like Nintendo did away with Touch Screen capabilities for the Switch. What people are calling a gimmick now, is not really a gimmick at all. The Nintendo Switch is officially a Hybrid Console, meaning we can play it at home or on the go, and yes, we can take it away from home.

About the only things not known about the Switch now, are it's specs, price and battery life.

This is the first time I've let myself get hyped about a console in a long time, but I feel the hype has been met.

i'm feeling pretty positive about it and looking forward to it. on the fence about whether or not to get the new zelda for this or the wii-u, although if they release at the same time then it'll be a no brainer

a bunch of my co-workers are excited about it too, and theyre generally not super into video games, so theres good portent there as well

I'm very optimistic. I'm personally hoping there will be a Breath of the Wild bundle. I'm going to place a pre-order when they release information on potential bundles. Until then, I save up.

Nothing wrong with a hybrid design idea, but it isn't very portable. I guess I just miss the old days of stuffing my handheld console in my pocket.

That and what little handheld footage we get doesn't look smooth at all, but it's just speculation until March 2017

Yeah. I think we should also keep in mind the Switch probably still needs adjustments and everything. Still about 5 months before it comes out. Hopefully the finished product will look better in terms of frame rate and all.

I assure you, at 5 months away, the hardware is already finalized. Gearing up for production takes a significant amount of time for a product like this.

Exactly. The games will just have to be scaled back for the mobile aspect of the switch, otherwise I don't see them (at least the graphically intense games like Skyrim) running well at all.
