I couldn't find a planning thread about this game so I decided to make one since I'm going to speedrun this game. Even if you don't speedrun this game, it would be nice if people familiar with this game would post glitches and tricks that you have found. All kinds of glitches and tricks are welcome even if they are useless or something that would have negative effects on gameplay and speedrun.
Here is what I have found out already (NOTE: If I just talk about a dragon, it doesn't matter which one of the two you use. If I talk about the other dragon, it's about the one controlled by the AI in singleplayer mode):

Here is what I have found out already (NOTE: If I just talk about a dragon, it doesn't matter which one of the two you use. If I talk about the other dragon, it's about the one controlled by the AI in singleplayer mode):
Latest Update: August 1st 2014
Flight Dash - While flying, press the Triangle button (Heavy attack) and once the attack begins after the charging, press L1 + *Direction* (Dodge) and it will send the dragon flying high speed. If you don't hit ground, it is possible to do multiple dashes in a row by holding down the L1 and the chosen direction. Works best when doing it in the direction the dragon is facing.
Elemental Glide - Using some of the element attacks causes you to lose next to no altitude allowing you to reach some places earlier than you are supposed to.
Elite Enemy Quick Kill - In the Ruins of Warfang chapter, the elite enemy can be killed very fast (comparing to how long it takes to kill him normally). First remove his mask (usually poison or ice type mask). Then get him to the corner of the upper platform that has the red and green crystals on top of it. He can't get to the narrower part of the platform he is standing on so it's quiet safe spot. Then use Cynder's Shadow Fire attack on him and he should just die even tough his health meter shows that he has over ~80% of his hp left. (I'll add a video sometime soon)
Death Glitch (Multiplayer only) - If both players die at the same time, the other one falls on the ground and the other one is still controllable. The Game Over sequence doesn't play and the game keeps going. The one that is still controllable, can drag the fallen dragon around. Enemies don't attack you when this glitch is active, but I haven't yet found any use for this one.
Cheetah Village Glitch - Rarely in the Cheetah Village when you are protecting it, next wave of enemies might fail to spawn, leaving the game hanging.
Elite Enemy Escape (Burned Lands) - The Elite Enemy of Burned Lands sometimes goes underground and never comes back up forcing you to leave the area untill it despawns and then re-enter the area. Mostly this seems to happen when his health is around 25% or below.
The Dam Skip - It is possible to skip the first section of The Dam area by going to the right flood gate (where you have to leave the weight to open the lock) and using the Elemental Glide trick to fly to the right on the platform where the chest is. Once you reach the chest fly left and again use the Elemental trick to reach the upper platform (the area between the two flood gates) where you would normally get once you open both of the flood gates and rise the water level. It's best to use Cynder's Poison element (requires level 3 or higher) for this since charging up the attack and keeping it charged doesn't consume mana.
Ground Pound Jump (Cynder only) - While flying, doing a ground pound will bounce you higher in the air than you can jump (and fly if the flying height is limited). Works only for Cynder for some reason.
Ruins of Warfang skip 1 - When you begin the stage go right, but instead of flying down to the platform where you get the weight (stay on the platform where the chapter begins), do a Ground Pound Jump and once you have reached the peak of the jump, do Elemental Glide and glide directly to the place where the red crystal is. This way you should be able to get over the stone wall and getting the crystal without having to carry the weight there and fighting the big green monster.
Ruins of Warfang skip 2 - Generally same idea as the RoW skip 1. Go to left from the start and reach the platform where the red crystal is. This spawns a big green monster. Go back to the waterfall (It's pretty thin waterfall. There is also some wind blowing downwards there) and climb the vines on a small platform that has a blue crystal on it. From this platform do an Elemental Glide (you can do a Ground Pound Jump before this if you want to) and glide to the platform where the big green monster is and get over the stone wall to get the red crystal.
Burned Lands skip 1 - In the fight with the two big orange/red monsters (last fight of the chapter), go to one of the corners and do Ground Pound Jump and at the peak of the jump go Elemental Glide and wait for one of them to do a jump attack at you. If you are lucky enough this should get you over the walls that rose from the ground before the fight to prevent you from leaving the fight. This is highly luck based as one of the enemies have to hit you with correct attack before you lose too much altitude in the Elemental Glide. The second thing is that it has to hit you in such angle that in knocks you upwards enough to get you over the wall. This one is outdated! There is a better way below this one!
Climber (Cynder only) - Using Cynder's mid-jump (NOT flying) light combo, you can gain height if you repeat the combo enough times. Climbing with this technique is very slow so it's not recommend to be used if other methods are available. Regardless of how slow this is, it still saves time in Burned Lands when used in skipping the first, second and fourth fight that spawns walls around you. The third one is faster to do the normal way if you have full Fury gauge (when used on the two purple enemies). Using Ground Pound Jump, you can gain good amount of height to start "Climbing". This technique is not recommend to be used if there are flying enemies around. You can also use this as a back up method getting over the "wall" around the red crystal if you don't get the Ruins of Warfang skip 1.
