Rev A means 1.1 which isn't a big deal to a normal gamer. Some speedrunners insist on v1.0 because they're likely to have the most glitches / possible skips. Like Link to The Past, runners almost unanimously use the Japanese v1.0, due to the most skips.

That all said, a prize is a great thing regardless of version, and the one that started it all is a great prize. Fantastic, Shiden.

I was able to pick up a copy of the Final Fantasy XIII-2 Collector's Edition guide from work, since it was going to be tossed.  Still in the packaging and everything, and I'm willing to send it to people, if you want it as a prize. ^^

That would be amazing, Itsu. Thanks to you and FFgamer!
My feelings on The Demon Rush
Oh yeah Poxnor, I forgot to say that I had some Final Fantasy perlers for you. I'll have to sort them out amongst the perler prizes, but I do know that I have a full set of FF1 characters in the perler set.
Moo! Flap! Hug!
Awesome, Mike! Thank you very much Smiley

PS, everyone: I'm out of town for a while, and I'm not sure when I'll next get the chance to update the first post. But, all these contributions are awesome, so don't worry that they're not yet in the first post Smiley
I've been lurking around random FF channels for a while and I heard you guys were short on incentives for a few games still from FFgamer, so I'm working on a couple of larger perlers for FFMQ.  I'm doing a Pazuzu and Dualhead Hydra for sure.  I'll let you know later on if I have time for more then that as it gets closer to time to send them out.

Maybe relevant to the collection of funds.

My feelings on The Demon Rush
Emptyeye: If we have a working version of SMK's tracker by the time Crystals for Life rolls around, that's what the C4L crew will use.

If not, then it looks like there's a Chipin replacement already. http://pitchinbox.com/

I almost feel like Pitch In is too convenient, but that's probably unfounded suspicion flaring up.

That pitchinbox looks Nice.  We should make sure its working before we start the marathon though. Maybe a week or so before set it up on the crystalsforlife.ca page.
Moo! Flap! Hug!
I'm leery about switching to a new system of donations (even if it is sooooo obviously made by the same people as ChipIn) so close to the marathon. Two observations:

(1) there was already a working (?) system of tracking donations for AGDQ directly through Paypal; and, if we can get that working well for us, we know it's battle-tested; and,

(2) it looks like PitchIn has that same old problem that we have to use USD to donate to a Canadian charity; whereas, if we use the direct Paypal system, we might (?) be able to set the default donation currency to CAD.
Not to burst anyone's bubble, but Chipin is forcing the issue:

"This is to notify all users of Chipin.com website ("Website") that ChipIn Inc. has been merged with InMobi Technologies Pvt. Ltd (collectively referred to as "Company"). We further wish to notify that InMobi has decided to discontinue the Website and all services thereunder on March 7, 2013 ("End Date")."

Just got that email this morning.

Yeah, we got that info the other day terribleno. Look at the last 5 posts or so.
I haven't seen anything in this thread about it, but whatever. Smiley

Two posts talking about it.
Ahhh, my bad. I didn't actually check Emptyeye's link because it was just a link to chipin with nothing else. My bad, go ahead and ignore me. ^_^

LOL. its alright.  We all make overlooks Tongue
Finished up the Hydra perler, it turned out okay.  Not used to ironing multi board stuff, so theres a few spots i think it could look better close up.
In theory this should be an image of it...

Soda can in the picture for size reference.

Next project, Pazuzu, which should turn out a bit better.

sexy perler. HYPE HYPE HYPE.

Why is this still not in the marathons thread ;_; not enough attention...
Moo! Flap! Hug!
Amazing perler, Grystor!

Sorry that I've fallen behind on updating the thread. I've received some prizes by mail, and haven't updated the first post or anything. I'm back in Edmonton now, so I will try to get around to all of that stuff ASAP.

Kirby: the marathon board is reserved for official SDA marathons. We're allowed to use this board to coordinate this community event, and I'm grateful for that.

ah ok, I guess I didn't quite catch that then. My bad ^^;
