We have probably gotten over 30 new people registered and doing SRL races, though. People we taught how to set up OBS, how to setup IRC chat clients like hexchat, etc. We organize blind races and semi blind races and we just hang out in teamspeak while practicing stuff. Quite a few of the people are on the SRL front page as well.
Yeah, and we try to find new games by doing blind races and if people like them we end up practicing them together, we have had like 8 or 9 people practicing megaman x together after a blind race. I am sure a bunch of the people are registered here on SDA as well, I know I use SDA to lookup WR's.
Peter Afro, I do not believe that is in our schedule but in our group we do have some people who regularly race MMX2 8 mavs together, so if you want to join our skype group and come participate in those, we'd be happy to have more members in The Fast Force.
The schedule for The Fast Force Marathon on June 6th through the 9th has been made. If anyone is interested in watching, we will be taking donations, all of which will be going to SGDQ when it starts because our group is going to be chilling on Teamspeak while we watch it! We will also be giving away perlers made by a member of The Fast Force as a donation incentive so if you want one you'll have to tune in to the marathon!
If you want to help out with the marathon we are still looking for people who want to help re-stream, do commentary, read donations, etc.
If you are interested in joining The Fast Force, we are a group of people dedicated to helping new people break into the speedrun/racing community, we have helped quite a few new people register on SpeedRunsLive and learn to stream to particpate in the races and blind races that we do together regularly on SRL. We also chat together on skype and in our teamspeak server, and just hang out to watch runs and have fun!
If you want added to the skype group, we have about 90 people in the group, just add omgfierce and say it is for The Fast Force's skype group!
Oh yeah you can join in on that peter, for sure. The bonus stream stuff isn't exactly scheduled, at least not yet. It's not part of the main marathon and it's basically whatever people want to do, if you want to get in on that you should probably join the group and other people in the group will be managing the bonus stream.
