Greetings, SDA. Do you love Contra? Do you like to watch co-operative speedrunning? Do you love tanks? Do you ever lament the fact that video games today don't have enough explosions? If you were to see a vehicle that was unattended would you prefer to shoot it instead of tear it apart with kicks or hundred hand slaps? Are you wondering what possesses people to artificially induce muscle spasms to increase the frequency at which a single button is pressed? Are you wondering when I'm going to start describing what this is? If you answered "Yes" to any of those questions, or even if you were slightly unsure, the Contra Conference is the event for you to watch!
The Contra Conference is not a marathon. Its goal is not to raise money[img][/img]. The cause we are asking you to support is Contra. We love Contra and we want to persuade all of you to love it too. We don't intend to persuade you to love it as much as we do as that is illegal in most democratic societies. The sole purpose of this event is to create submittable two player runs for Contra, Super C and Contra III in one week's time. We will reset early and we will reset often. The goal is perfection.
