Here are the basic statistics driving The Big Push. On April 1, the number of runs post verification was about 130. That means that at 6 games/update, somebody would have to wait over 20 updates for their run to be posted after it's verified. The reason why we care so much about post-verification runs is because that's the perceivable "backlog," and also that's the SDA Staff-dependent side of the queue. Collecting verifiers, runners torrenting, verifiers verifying is largely out of our hands. My ultimate goal for The Big Push is to get that "backlog" number (aka number of runs post-verification) down to 20-30. That way, at an ideal updating pace of 2 updates per week, runs that are accepted can be posted within the same month.
