Side Challenges and Such at AGDQ2

We never really had a real tournament. We had a lot of Melee in the extra room, played by the three of them, KirkQ, myself, and Tri-Hex mostly, and I also got to play PJ, Pootrain, Heidman, and Tigger77 as well.

You guys should host an online tourney for Super Smash Bro's Brawl if ya got it, just post friend codes and a day/time. Much easier than trying to get everyone together. If you hosted this, I bet quite a few would respond.

Cosmo is SO DAMN GOOD. I just flat out suck, and everyone else was awesome. I had more fun watching than playing because of ppl like Cosmo 4 stocking me. On that note, I killed Cosmo once, then killed myself because I was happy with the achievement. I might look into getting better, but I doubt it will happen by next marathon.

There are other sites where you can go for tournaments online for this game. This was just to get something going at the marathon.

Yup, bringing this back. But making it broader and allowing anyone to bring up any kind of challenge they please.

For anyone who plays Plants vs Zombies on sex-box, I am posting an official challenge for the VS mode with custom pics. I have made a house rule that the 25 zombie is not allowed to be used due to it making the zombies WAY overpowered. At least that is how it is with the ppls I play with.

I am offering cash to anyone who can beat me while I use the 25 zombie. Better yet, I will tell you the other zombies I will be using as well. [25] Zombie, [50] Newspaper Zombie, [75] Conehead Zombie, [100] Pole Vaulting Zombie, my last zombie is either Football Zombie or Ladder Zombie both costing [150]. If anyone can figure a way to beat me, I am willing to pay cash on the spot. How much? Beat me and find out. Oh, and this is first person only. Just know it is a nice amount Wink

Side note: I only have 1 controller as my friends bring there own to play at the house. I am sure there will be an extra one we could use though with how many ppl and everything that will be there already Tongue

So I'm up for being taught how to play TSS this year. I tried downloading an emulator and it didn't go to well.

Anyone up for some Marvel vs Capcom stuff as well? That game is pretty fun if we can get a couple of sticks.

Is melee going to be 1v1? I'd be happy to play in a 4 player FFA but I've got no experience otherwise.

Also, I'm undefeated in Mario Party from AGDQ1. Prepare yourselves.

I've toyed with the idea of getting Power Stone as well. I know andrewg would be down for a Rush 2 stunt course high score challenge, but I don't know if anyone else would. <3 Of course we've got crazy saturn bomberman and chu chu rocket action.

What console are we playing TSS on anyway?

I would play melee and marvel. We could do some big races with enough setups too, Mario 64 and SMW come to mind as good choices.

I remember someone said they were going to bring Chu Chu Rocket. I will definitely play that, I've never seen the game played with 4 people. I'm also game for Mario Party.

My feelings on The Demon Rush

Just one thing about side tournaments, they're a great idea, but someone has to organize them. No one organized the ones that were suppposed to happen last year, and nothing happened. I'll be too busy to organize any, as much as I would like a TSS tournament.
