I am a Boss
Hey guys,

Well, for those of you that speed-run Super Meat Boy, like myself, you will know how annoying it is to have to manually delete your save file before every run (mostly in any%) and then manually launch Super Meat Boy. Well, I was getting quite sick of this because it caused me to have to keep a folder window open, or have to manually open it and delete the file. So, instead, I went ahead and created a little program that is small, but gets the job done.

What this program does is simply scan your computer for the savegame.dat file and delete it without the need of confirmation, or having to open a folder. In addition, there is another button that will Launch your Super Meat Boy without having to navigate through the taskbar Steam Menu and selecting Super Meat Boy.

Now, I want to stress that only myself and a few others have tested this program, and I believe to have worked out all the kinks. However, if for some reason you are receiving an error, or the program is not executing what it should be, please feel free to send me a message either here on SDA, or via the email that is included within the Readme of the .rar

You can download the newest version of my Super Meat Boy Control Center (SMBCC) at the sendspace link below

Thanks, and I hope this has a good use for all you speed-runners.

Heh, amateurs...
Very handy tool! Hasbro Interactive had a similar program called 'Frognuke' which did a similar thing, but didn't include a launch feature within the window.

Thanks. And ya, I thought it was important to add a Launch Super Meat Boy button to this since you have to launch the game after deleting your save file anyway. Just seemed like a good move to make this more efficient.

Fixed an error that involved a SystemIO exception to be thrown when trying to access a certain drive that may be labeled as your DVD drive.

I also went ahead and supported a few more driver letters that were common for some users.
