Yeah and for bandage girl glitching it suck honestly at least it's a segmented run.

Bandage girl doesn't start glitching out until you have beaten the boss for that world. Also while the glitching effect is random, it is fairly common. I know that when I was trying to manipulate glitchy bandage girl to show up, I could select a world, then select level with a clear view of bandage girl, and within 1-3 deaths/attempts of that level, bandage girl would glitch out. So assuming that in a speedrun you beat the light world and boss before doing the dark world, you are pretty much guaranteed to encounter glitchy bandage girl at least once.

One question I have is that if you beat a level by getting glitchy bandage girl, does it count the level as completed, or is it like getting a warpzone where you have to complete the level again in order to 'beat' it to get the A+ time?

IIRC, no it doesn't count as if the level were completed. But I'm not completely sure, thanks for the info so I think I'll change my segmentation plan to:

1-Forest light and dark(everything except glitchy world)
2-Hospital(etc.)
3-salt factory
4-Hell
5-rapture
6-The end light world
7-The end dark world(maybe 6 and 7 fusion together)
8-Cotton alley Light world
9-Cotton alley Dark world(maybe 8 and 9 fusion together)
10-all glitchy world(may be separated if the consistency of all world is too low)

it seem the best I can achieve for the moment but could change currently working on The forest(working some IL strats but not all considering some of them are pretty sick)

It counts as the level being completed. You keep your time, get the A+, and keep any bandages.

Yep I just did my forest strats and I notice that also. Up to now there's two level I can't get the bandage+an A+ 1-11(actually this one is possible but I fail in this attempt) and in the dark world X1-14. I tried a sick route for X1-14 and it could be possible but with a very low% of success, considering this is near the end of the segment it would be very sad to miss like 49 times on 50(that's only if the rest of the segment goes right)I'll think about it so up to then.

Now for the glitch zone, when I'll do 1-19, after the warp zone I restart on the map so I'll go beat Dr. Fetus and I'll do 1-19 and 1-20 after(praying that bandage girl glitch and I'm ready to assume up to two death in 1-20 to make her glitch which give me a fair chance since I will have 4/X)

P.S. I realized during this attempt that a 100% run will be incredibly long.

Just if you had a better idea(more reliable).

Aside from that, I've tried back a couple of attempt and this is what I end up with(glitch zone)
1-47 deaths
2-7 deaths
3-6 deaths
4-got it immediately on 1-20
5-87 deaths
6-19 deaths

So from what I can see, it's all a matter of luck and it look pretty low%(avr. of 1 on 27,666...(this is probably biased since I'm a very unlucky person))(So do you think a run could be reject because I suicide myself up to five times just to have glitchy bandage girl) because, if it's the case, I think all of glitchy zone will deserve their own segment(which will be longer since I have to select the world grab a fast level and complete it again and that in the other way if I kill myself five time, I'll only have to complete the level once since the score is keep after).

If I absolutely have to segment every one, which level do you advice me to skip:
1. 1-1 for sure

In single-segment ~10 suicides would be fine (depending on how often you have to do it overall).
In segmented I'd go for 1-3 (if at all) and not with a new segment cause thats a colossal waste of time.

Oh, I just read through all the conversation again and realized we could encounter glitched Bandage girl in the dark world. So did a few more attempt and got her on every attempt. So now I have an average of 3 naturals deaths, so maybe I'll practice harder strats(find a friend on windows that possess SMB) and maybe record my first segment before the end of 2011 Tongue

Strange days, incredible days

I discovered this back when I was toying with the idea of a segmented 100%, sorry I wasn't around or I'd have mentioned it. Yeah, you can just play dark world after beating the boss and there's a good chance of her showing up - however, I've seen her show up in a replay before, after which she usually doesn't glitch again by the time I hit level 20x of that world. The game seems to count replays as appearance chances, which is just aggravating.

Got a couple of practice today and it start to look nice. I'll probably record my plan and post it here a moment this week if I can have a day off at university and work simultaneously.

EDIT: Do someone know how the timing of this will be calculated? The timer of the first segment will probably be when I first take control of Super Meat Boy and all of the segment will end when I hit the last Bandage girl(or meat boy in cotton alley) of the segment. but for the other segments, will the timer start at the Title Screen???

The new patch changed all the bosses to make them more "difficult". This actually changes things for CHAD and Fetus. The same pattern can still be used for CHAD, but it takes much more strict timing now, and he can jump up after the first screen.

The huge difference is Fetus. He follows you quickly now, which means he gets to the bridge about 10 seconds faster now. This makes Exo's record beatable now, although it's obviously still extremely difficult.

What is SDA's policy on patches?

Like I already said to Exo I've sub 20min yesterday, I got 19:56 Smiley

but aside from this, I'll be practicing my 100% run everyday but I won't be recording any segment until I'm completely done with Amnesia The Dark Descent, since the end is probably near, all of you should see a segment within the three next months Tongue
