The swaps would be more interesting if they were a bit more unique...I don't personally see the point in playing as Old Man if he's just a swap of Link and plays exactly like him (other than for lols I guess).

Jumping back to the start of the thread, there are easier ways even than dredging through your (likely reformatted/compressed/etc. to the point of uselessness) browser cache or tracking down 3rd party tools to get local copies of these.  I was able to use a simple "inspect element" to dig down to where the actual swf is hosted.

Version 1:

Version 2:
they got trickier on the exploding rabbit site and appear to have maybe instituted a preloader, but I tracked down a slightly older (2.02) version at
http://flashpilot.net/swf/7116-supermariobroscrossover2.swf
The swf for 2.1.11 where exploding rabbit filed it is at
http://www.explodingrabbit.com/media/flash/SmbcPreloader.swf
but if it truly is just a preloader and not the whole game, your mileage may vary if you aren't online.

Anyway, if you can't save-link-as those links, you should be able to follow them and save the "web page" once it loads.

Still waiting for the totally awesome looking 3.0 but nothing on FB or the website.

This is one of those cases where I wish this was able to be put on a cart and played on a console. x.x;; Soooooo awesome!

HOT SKIPPY! This new upgrade is so absolutely phenomenal! It's definitely one of those true moments where I wish there was a way to get this on to an actual cart to play on a console.

Seriously makes me wonder how the heck they can improve this awesome title!
