Hi! I'm andrewg!

8:58 here. I'm happy to have gotten under 9 minutes finally. The other thing that makes me happy is this:
SMB1 + SMB2 + SMB3 = under 25 minutes! (4:58 + 8:58 + 11:01)

I don't want any copyright issues, so I had to switch the audio. Classical music is nice though Wink

Also, I plan to get under 8:50 this week. I hope I can make it happen at least somewhat soon. Wish me luck.

EDIT: My real goal is to get SMB1 + SMB2 + SMB3 + SMW under 35 minutes total.

Yeah, that's what I thought... "matches third party content." Apparently, one of the soundtracks must have somehow lined up with someone who did a cover of something in Mario 2. I don't really know.

When that happens I think it'll tell you what content it's matching.

One of my sleep cam vids from CGDQ got that warning (but not the other, curiously, even though they're both tracks from the same album). Hasn't gotten any issues with the track being silenced or anything, though.

Double Jumps and Warping?

Just press up as soon as the guys falls on you = you fall out of the screen bro! Wink

Thanks man, I'll give the ladder trick another try.
I've always been able to do double jumps, but the platform seems a little out of reach? I dunno, I might have a workaround for it anyway.

DO a pixel perfect double jump on the first enemy after the last bridge = you double jump into the door you wanna go to, I ahve no problems with it, but then again, I invented that.

Oh ok, the ladder trick's way easier now that I actually know what I'm doing.
My workaround works too...I throw the Shyguy onto the bridge and double jump from there.

Ok, I got the perfect double jump. I just had to hold A down a bit longer in the first jump to increase the height.

As soon as I enter inside 6-3, I pick up the block and Birdo fires. I shoot the block on Birdo's egg and the block hits him and falls on the right side of him. Then I do the double hit! I know you skip that first egg Andrew. Hmm, my way might not be fast! Anyway, tri-clyde is easy, if he doesin't shoot the first fireball wrong and destroy everything. That seems to be the only random act that he does!

I am gonna start doing videos for this game, for the upcoming smb-wiki! I was thinking, the 4 ways of the start on 6-3 could be a cool video! Wink

Well, there are like 5 ways on doing the level, but only casual players go right! Tongue

Im guessing, the second you threw the shyguy. Luigi registered a hit causing loose of hearts. But some RNG causing it to sustain on the same frame so you loose both hearts. But how in the world did you loose 2 lifes?! This is so crazy..

Yeah, I don't fully understand it. You didn't pause at all? It still seems like some variation of the suicide glitch. The way it happened though is very strange. This was NTSC, correct? I'm baffled... and I helped with the TASes. Very very odd.
