Hey everyone,

I'm new to this site, and I found it through watching old GDQ videos. I started looking around and found a 0 star speedrun of Super Mario 64 in 6:41. I know that the true world record for single-segment 0 star is a 6:44 by Akira, found here: https://www31.atwiki.jp/sm64/pages/14.html The run that is on the game list (completed in 2012 I may add) should not be on the site, as it is not a true single-segment run, and I'm suspecting that it is a TAS.

Thank you,
Rox
Thread title:
SDA-timing starts at character control, which is 50 seconds or so after reset. I believe reset is the starting point used for the timing of Akira's run. So Akira's run is faster than the run here on SDA.
If you still think that Funila's run is not legit, please state what you base your suspicions on.
Thanks for clearing that up. I probably should have watched the run before starting this thread. Reset is used for non-SDA timing, as shown in the 120 star run by cheese at SGDQ, and that's what I'm used to. I no longer suspect anything, and thanks for clearing that up.
