I just got my camera in the mail today, and guess what the first thing I do with it is... I make a special video for Super C Low% and I plan on uploading it here for yall to see. It is long, but I figure there are a few ppl out there that will enjoy it. Once I get it ready, I will post it.

Here is a link to a 1:24:10 video of me explaining a Low% run of Super C. The video is too large to upload directly to SDA, and is in a bad resolution to upload to Youtube. So Megaupload was my best choice.

I don't really know how many ppl would be interested in this, but I am assuming that there is at least one person that would enjoy this. Regardless, here ya go.

Intruding N313 and F014

That was an excellent video. I enjoy listening to detailed, technical commentary of video games. This is why I also enjoyed Emptyeye's streams of Magician. Having the camera pointed at the screen made it possible to point things out on the screen, and that made it easier to understand.
+1 for shirtless commentary, appropriate for a Contra game. Smiley

BTW, the last segment with stage 7 and 8 is duplicated. The video should end at 1:14:25

Aww lame. Regerdless, I am not about to re-encode that thing. I guess it will have to stay the way it is.

The HQ version of this FINALLY finished encoding, and it has a high enough resolution to upload to Youtube. I was also able to cut out the last but Dunnius mentioned that repeated. So expect that to be up soon.

If anyone is interested, I can provide a Megaupload link to the HQ version if it is requested. It is just at a higher resolution than the MQ that was provided.

I am thinking about shelving this game for a while. Given the verification comes back as good news. If not, then it will be my worst nightmare. The weapons run can use a bit of work, but no more than a few seconds can come off of that thing. A weapons run is MUCH easier than Low%. Regardless, I want a break from this game... like FOREVER!!! But in the end, no I am not done running this game. I shall return to it again some day.

Btw, for anyone who watched the instructional video for no weapons runs, thanks. I am surprised that some of you 1. watched it, 2. watched the whole thing, 3. enjoyed it.

I only got to number 1 Wink

However despite that, this seems to be the most complete and detailed explanation of Super C speedrunning out there, so if I were interested at all in playing this game fast, I would most certainly have watched it all.
