So I guess I'll put this here? Took a couple pics of the damage to my car. Though I have to say, these pictures really did not capture the damage too well. It looked waaaay worse than this in person, especially in a place that was well lit. So bad, in fact, was the damage (much more expensive just to make it drivable again than the actual value of the car) that I forewent repairing it and got my father to help me just pay for a new car. Also, these pics don't show the internal damage or the damage to the doors along the right side of the car, because these pics were taken kind of impromptu at the repair shop as I was leaving. Anyway, the pics below. You'll notice this part of the damage is to the PASSENGER side of the car. This guy actually fell asleep and swerved all the way across to my curb (though that's not where we impacted). Luckily Alberto was a really nice guy and admitted what happened to the police when they eventually arrived.

Yeah I was about to ask if I could try streaming a run for AGDQ (stream instead of perform not because I'm now deathly afraid of highways but because I doubt I can afford to go), but then it occurred to me that AGDQ is going to be held at the tail end of my winter break, so I'm going to be home in the Midwest without my streaming gear. Might have to wait until the next summer marathon. :/

IMW - If money is the only thing holding you back from going in January, we could probably get enough SDA members to pitch in to help pay your way. I know there was even some talk about having the JTV ad revenue go towards paying for people to come to DC who couldn't afford to otherwise, although this may have changed.

Made it back late last night after narrowly avoiding having to spend the night at the Chicago airport (my flight from Dallas to Chicago was delayed about 2 hours due to weather, but when I got to Chicago I found that my connection to the regional airport near where I live was also delayed)!
