Badass McAwesomesauce....I kept trying other ones on that page earlier today that "seemed" like it would be the ones via the title. I also recommend, and this shocked me, you play or watch the recent TAS as Bisqwit's of Prince of Persia for GBA for more GREAT music in this style.
Ya know...one thing I honestly don't know how it hasn't happened yet is for somebody/community to hack Alpha or 3rd strike or MUGEN it up to the aim for a "fast 2D" sprite rendering redo of SFEXPlus and whatnot. That combined with this musci and some obvious tweaking = WIN possibly surpassing SFIV's evnetual advent.
I love Hokuto's music. My favourite out of the sound track. Japanese drummers have a distinct sound. I dunno why but when you hear them play you just know they're Japanese.

I agree completely! I won't profess to know much about drummers, but my favorite for now is Toshihiko Nakamura. Since you know me, you probably don't have to spend much effort to figure out what he has done.
Oh my dear sweet Jesus, I did NOT expect this topic to still be alive!
Well my friends, it has been eleven long years since I last posted but I am back! A lot has happened since 2006 - I finished University, became a lawyer, got married (no kids yet), and I'm about to become an uncle.
And, I've continued playing video games. Sometimes much to my wife's chagrin, but nonetheless I have. Most importantly, I recently came back to this site, and it wasn't long after that I remembered my attempted speed run at this game.
Very luckily for me, I still had it to hand. And that means this speed run is back on! I've had a look back through this tooic and those times I was pulling all those years ago seem insane, but I'm confident I will get back there with practice. And this time, no technology will get in my way!
