oh yeah, that's a real plague. some time ago i noticed that i also became a victim of stolen speedruns.

this guy steals a couple of speedruns and uploads them on youtube:

the amazing part is: that guy has even blocked me from commenting the videos of my own old metroid prime SS 1:07 run which he uploaded illegally on youtube. when i attempted to comment one of the 1:07 videos i couldn't.

he deserves none of his views and subscribers on youtube because he is a swindler. on the other hand it makes me feel upset that people choose to watch his videos and suscribe him rather than me although i'm the original and he is the fake  Angry

but i guess that's not the people's fault but it is the fault of youtube because youtube choose whose videos they broadcast and whose not. i guess it's all about money on youtube: if you have the money youtube will do anything for you, and if you don't have the money they will completely ignore you.

i already sent a copyright complaint to youtube but those pigs don't seem to accept my complaint, even though i showed them the best reasons they still don't seem to believe that i am the real owner of the videos which Mister 'roflzwaflz' bastard has uploaded on youtube.

btw, has anyone ever seen a guy named roflzwaflz here on SDA? if you find him please ban him from this site.

btw i forgot to ask something:

are Luke 'Transience' Yagnow and Blake 'Spiderwaffle' Piepho still around here on sda? or is Transience still around on Metroid 2002?

because that roflzwaflz who stole my old metroid prime speedrun has also stolen transience's metroid zero mission speed run and spiderwaffle's half life 2 speedrun.

btw, with time i am more and more understanding why all you guys here on SDA hate youtube so much. youtube can be so much frustrating.

About that guy, I don't think he's really doing anything wrong? I mean, it's not really polite for him to upload the runs to youtube, but he's uploading them and linking to the website and giving proper credit to the runner, he's not trying to steal the runs.

My feelings on The Demon Rush
Zoid: I don't know anything about roflzwaflz's account, so I can't comment there.

However, I do know the guy who runs the speeddemosarchiveSDA account on youtube. There's no need to flag him for anything; he uploads runs unaltered and links to the site. Besides, the account is free promotion for us.

The guy maintaining the account doesn't post here very often, and it looks like he hasn't been using youtube often either (last login: 1 month ago). Actually, I was thinking of contacting the guy and asking if someone else (not me) could take over because he hasn't been maintaining the account very often nowadays.

That was created by Laughing Gas.  I permitted him uploading my Bouncer runs.

This guy even had the balls to put a statid in the beginning of my SH1 speedrun saying that he was the player.  Great Stuff (he's stolen a lot of other runs too).  I'm sick of dealing with these people but if anyone else wants to complain about this guy stealer one of their runs then go for it.

Keep an eye on Gametrailers. They are notorious for stealing other people's work. Right now it's not very common. Why do they do it? Points. With points they can purchase stuff in the store. So yes, they are literally making money off your work.

I commented on the top guys channel (just for the hell of it) telling him he shouldnt be uploading runs without permission and he actually replied and said that he would make sure and do that from now on.  I figure he deserves the chance to make good on his word.  He also said that he would try to go back and include the runner in his previous vids, but he has a lot, so we'll see about that.  If he's got yours up and you ask, I bet he'd take it down.

Thanks. I let him know he needs to obtain permission before uploading. Since he explicitly says he didn't make it and the StatID tags are there, it's fine to stay up.

Wow, that's blatant. In his comments he says he did it (or implies it strongly), but the video still has the stat id.
