Would anyone be interested in seeing this run?

I recently discovered my cartridge. It's surprisingly faster pace than I remembered, which is fun.

so i started routing this game for fun, these are my notes so far

press x + y at the same time can sometimes allow you to throw 2 grenades instead of 1. you'll know it worked when a grenade pops out at your feet for no reason. i have no idea if this is useful, so far it doesn't seem to be against anubis (first boss)

you have to run through a lot of enemies, especially the annoying small bats that fly about. they can deal a good amount of damage on hard, but on easy they do almost nothing. you have a chance to do a staggering animation when hit, unless you are moving through the air or have started running, so if you keep moving you'll just take the damage.

anubis is a really annoying boss. he's the type that teleports around the room at random. luckily when you begin the fight, you drop down and he's right behind you. i've managed to defeat his first of 3 stages by throwing grenades at him quick enough, but it isn't consistent. on easy the grenades deal a great amount of damage, so i've began routing just on easy since anubis can be stupid with his teleportation

another RNG-section seems to be after you find skarra. they give you an option of 2 doors, one leads to the "slave mines" and then to a cellar, while the other goes straight to the cellar. the door on the left during my playthrough went to the cellar, but i don't know if it's random yet

that's all i've got for now

i think i've just confirmed that this game is shit for speedrunning

you have to fight anubis again, and this time you're in a tighter space - he is exactly the same boss with the teleportation and 3 phases, except in the smaller space he teleports even more. i think he has another fighter after this second one -- unless i can find a way to stagger him and get a quick-kill, i think this boss makes getting a good time so random that it won't be worth it

another section has you take control of a aircraft, and you have to defeat a certain number of enemy ships - this is pretty hard to do fast since the ships just fly about at random.

i might try a bit longer on the routing but, i'm uncertain if i'll be able to handle these shitty sections in a quick/consistent way
