Star Ocean Relay? (Gauging interest)

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to gauge some interest in a Star Ocean relay some time in either March or April. It's one of my favorite game series, and I quite enjoy the speed runs, so I thought it would be cool to bring the runners together in a relay setting.

The first order of business would be to figure out who the runners are, where the relay would be hosted (I've reached out to some people for assistance) and which games will be run. I would prefer that all 4 games be run SO1, The Second Story, Till the End of Time, and (That which will not be named, but I will put it here for reference) The Last hope. I have seen runs, and runners, for 2-4, but not of 1.

So if your interested in running something, or would like to see something like this, please feel free to post, or throw ideas my way. I'm happy to listen.

It sounds like a really fun idea. It's a pretty well-known series as a whole and it'd be nice to showcase all the games (they're all quite short for RPGs).

Back with an Update.

I intend to have this on the 16th of April starting around 9am CST (where I live). That is roughly two months and a few days away.

Currently we have
SO1 First Departure: Gerrick1,
SO2: Gearless Robot
SO3: Aithere,
SO4: BowietheHero.

I know some other people out there may know these routes, or would like to run the games. If you would like to be considered or offer running a game, please feel free to let us know. It would be amazing if we could turn this into a race but these games have a ton of RNG and that could easily affect the outcome so I understand if people don't want to do it. Please let me know if you have any issues with participating, or would like to suggest a different date/time.

I will have a layout made well before the event.

I wouldn't mind running Star Ocean 3 again. At the very least, would give me a reason to de-rust the game.

It depends on if/when I finish learning SO4. I still have 33% of the game left to learn from the time of this post.
But, I would be more interested if this was a race.
