I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
So sometime around 2009 I started putting together a speedrun of this game. I only got as far as the 6th or 7th case before I just lost interest. Several years later I've regained some interest in putting a run together.
I've slowly began remembering a lot as I move along but there's still a ways to go before I can catch myself back up to where I was. In the mean time however, here are some general times for the stages (on Easy) I ran through today just to give people an idea.
Case 0: From "New Game" screen to "would you like to save your game" 6:20 RTA (3 min gametime at save)
Case 1: From "File Loaded" to "would you like to save your game" 12:58 RTA (12 min gametime at save)
Case 2: From "File Loaded" to "would you like to save your game" 13:00 RTA (22 min gametime at save)
From what I can recall in the past, most of the missions are only around 15-20 minutes long. For the most part, you just go from point A to B with almost no time spent every picking up extra items. I believe you only really need 2 weapons and a couple extra Jammers throughout the entire run. There's a few parts in stage 5 that I kind of recall picking up a few stink bombs but at this exact point I don't recall how many.
Anyways, if anyone has any questions about the game, feel free to ask. And for those of you not at all familiar with the game, it's a stealth game where you take pictures of people and use that to wear disguises of them. It's a fairly easy game with a great story and I suggest everyone check it out at some point, even if just for the laughs you'll get out of it.
