I'm working on a spongebob truth or square speedrun. Spongebob truth or square is a 3d platformer and it is also available for psp, xbox, and ds. I've been working on this run for a year now, and i have perfected it up to the 2nd boss battle.

If done correctly...

I would like to play this game, but I'm more interested in Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom right now. :/
I could buy and consider speedrunning the game this Summer, though.

i have JUST perfected my run, so i will be working on a full run. the question is: single segment or multi-segment?

EDIT: I decided single segment, and will work on my run over the weekend.

give or take a few days.

In Flames We Trust

I enjoyed those 3D platformer Spongebob games when I was younger, so if this is similar to any of them, such as Battle for Bikini Bottom, I'd be interested in seeing a speed run of it. Good luck with your speedrun! thumbsup

k, i've decided wednesday or thursday after lunch. hopefully i will get sub-1:45:00.

If done correctly...

Are you going to do an any% or 100% run, and if you're doing an any% run, do you use this trick in the run, or is this something new?

Some of the footage is cut off, but there wasn't anything really important that was left out.

any %. if i did an 100%, that would take all the concept art packs, all the levels, AND all the happiness items. which would take at LEAST an hour more to redo the levels all over again.
new to me. but i dont see how this'll save time. oh wait, now i do. but i'll just use that glitch for the level only
(btw, that'd just be so damn funny if spongebob said "nertz!" when he was mad)

Wouldn't it be faster to skip the last 4 levels of the game and fight the last boss within 7 minutes after you can play the Mermalair level?

well, that would count as a glitched run, and mabye, JUST mabye, i could do that. but that's not what i am trying to go for. thanks anyways.

I've found a few ways to get out of bounds, but besides the Mermalair one, they're all pointless. Do you still want to know them?

No, two are in the first level, and two are in the 2nd to last one; they're not that useful, but if you still want to know them, then I can tell you them.

If done correctly...

All that I do in that part is have all of the enemies chase me next to the ledge I want to get on, and I keep jumping over them until one of their hammers pushes me up enough to get me on top of the ledge. That's as much of the trick as I can understand. :/

So far, I'm trying to find glitches in the 3rd portion of levels. I know there is a OoB glitch in the hash slinging slaher level, but you need a warp box for that.

I recently found several new tricks in the Hash-Slinging-Slasher level as well as some other levels too...

Edit: Could you help me find a way to do the spatula-pound jump consistently; I'm wanting to do something kinda complicated with it.
