Speedrun Event Calendar

Been meaning to make a post about this for a while. Basically the objective of this is to collate all of the events going on so that there's less overlap happening between events. You can view it here.

As you can see, already the weekend of October 17-19 is packed. This is admittedly hard to avoid because two of those meetups are in-person meetups, which have to be organised earlier for obvious reasons.

At the moment, this should have every meetup from this board that has both a) a definite date, and b) a stream they plan to use. c) A charity, or a declaration that you're not playing for one, would also be recommended.

~~Right now only I can update it - this obviously isn't optimal, does anyone know if you can add contributors to a Google calendar?~~ EDIT: TestRunner made a submission form: link. Submit through that, and one of us will take care of it.

Well, there has already been talk of moving the Speedrunning for Kidsport Marathon back a week due to the other two meet-ups, so you might be changing that here pretty quickly.

Yeah, it kind of sucks to have a meet up the same weekend as mine, considering I've had those dates since April. I don't know how to coordinate with people unless they look at stuff. Oh well I guess

You should add Best of the NES to the end of October. All the WR holders for various NES games are participating in this online marathon, myself included.

SGDQ is in Minnesota this summer, though in the past it has been in Colorado.

If you are interested in having your child attend AGDQ 2016, presumably in VA, I'm sure someone who has attended previous GDQ events can speak to how hospitable it would be for someone of that age.

It's actually changed to Speedrunning eXpo now. It's the same dates, and it is in Harbor Springs, Michigan @twitch.tv/speedrunningexpo
