Hello folks!

I am not a speedrunner myself but I watch a lot of speedrun content.  I was recently going through a 20 year old hard drive and I found a game I haven't thought about since I was in high school:  Elastomania.  It's an indie motocross/trials game using extremely simple polygons, but the actual mechanics are very difficult to master.  (It's very addictive.  Just going back into the game after all this time I spent a good hour on it.)  The main scoring criteria is time, down to the ms.  Since this is the perfect speedrun game (low skill floor, high skill ceiling) I thought it would be the perfect candidate for SDA, but I was surprised that nobody has ever run it.  I guess it is probably mostly unknown, since it came out in 2000, although there are a couple mentions of it on this forum from about 2002.

So,I would like to share the game with you and put forth the challenge to speedrun Elastomania!  I would love to see some pros optimize the game.
Here is the game:

This link contains the individual folder, but I also compressed it all into a single rar for easier downloading.
I have scanned with Comodo and Bitdefender just to be safe.

Let me know what you think!

The reason it's not on SDA is mainly because it always had its own dedicated site[s]. Far from not being speedrun, it was and probably still is hugely competitive in that regard, though I couldn't immediately identify where that old site is.

EDIT: well, after a cursory glance at the forum history, I see other factors may have been at play. Something to do with the game version that people run being modded.
