Having only watched Final Chase (rest later), I'm going to place all my bets on the one I think is right. Considering it's fairly easy to lose 10 seconds in a Speed level through just plain being slow on certain things, a single 20-second mistake in the whole run, combined with unnaturally fast play in the rest of the run, should be more than acceptable.

Hero story- I'm not sure. I think Silsen is still working on it. I can't remember if he had a prospective time, but I think it's something like sub-45, maybe sub-40.
Dark story- there's a 33:35.70 run in my previous post.
Honestly I thought the run looked great. The SA1 run is awesome and includes death in the first level. Therefore, I don't really have a problem with the death here either. Good job.
Well, I think I'm going to submit this. Further attempts have been fairly disastrous. They could never get past Radical Highway. I think I might have lost my touch. I keep screwing up jumps I never missed before.
That and I discovered a new run-screwing emerald shard in Dry Lagoon (shard 2 "Corner of the room with hieroglyphics"), and the game can't seem to help but give me it.
So, what's the best way to go about contacting mikwuyma about this?
hero story was aiming for sub 50 by ingame clock... it was physically possible but I just don't have the technology nor money to afford technology capable of recording a really nice run. So I think I might be off.
Were you guys thinking single segment/no death? I was messing around in SA2 the other day testing it for running potential and if you were going SS/ND, we might be rivals, assuming this game doesn't have something that just stops the run in it (aside from those knuckles/rouge levels)

When going fast, ss/no death is really hard. There are plenty of big shortcuts that are easy to bork.
CE- 1:41 bounced once on truck which is suckage, decent run (1:19.x final check) A funny note is ive done 1:38.87 on a speedrun attempt beating my best time ever, but of course I had a bad wild canyon lol. but anything under 1:42 is fine since I can get that 4/5 times in a row id prolly have to restart 10 times a run if I wanted to get a sub 1:40 which I don't think is worth it.
wild canyon- 0:45 WOW, im lucky to get sub minute
prison lane 1:42- I actually understand the shortcuts now, didnt mess up much
metal harbor- 1:17, stupid mistakes but I pulled off my new rocket strategy which is a 1/5 chance for me so... yay
green forest- 1:36 pulled off all of yoshis shortcuts without bouncing anywhere and a couple stucks here and there
pumpkin hill- 1:42 sub 2 is more than fine by me
mission street- 2:17 did well at the lifts part where you can make or break 5 seconds instantly by missing it and having to wait
aquatic mine- 1:12 sub 2 is my perferred target here too so 1:12 is great
route 101- 2:17 I (think) my best time before this ever was 2:18, so this is awesome, didn't hit any cars or waste my boosts in stupid spots like I usually do.
hidden base 1- 1:55 I took the first 5 seconds very slowly cuz its really easy to hover into the platform before it fully falls and die, from there I did well with only a couple stupid errors.
Pyramid cave- 1:59 WOW, I did all the risky moves(skipping the second hourglass with a bounceball, spindashing straight into the rail before the second green key) and it all came together to tie(possibly beat) F-Man =)
death chamber- 2:34 i was hoping for sub 3:30, so......
eternal engine- 3:22 I still haven't ever seriously time attacked this level since I don't like it so i guess this is good I dunno, I didn't screw up like crazy or anything.
meteor herd- ten minutes thirty two seconds..............
nah........... 2:18!!
Crazy Gadget- 1:46 I pulled off all da crazy stuff so this is a decent time, just not perfect.
final rush- 2:23- everything went great considering its the last level and I wanted to make sure I didn't die, I was cautious but not OVER cautious so it HOPEFULLY won't show at all.
bosses..
big foot- 21.x, I wasted some time grabbing rings cause 99% of the time ill light dash them screwing the whole dang fight up.
eggman 1- 13.37 8)
shadow 1- 17.x sub 20 is really rare for me so w00t
egg golem- 1:17, probably bad but for some reason i just CANT do the bounce ball strategy, ive probably tried otherwise hundreds of times without a single succesfull hit.. I don't understand it but whatever, no way am I gunna try it on a SS
king boom box or boo or whatever(bk ref ha) 1:47, 3+1. i've never done a quad hit in my life ever so I didn't expect one here.
rogue 1- 0:27 this is good since I hate this fight, I usually get 1:00+ cause my hits always get blocked= hugeee annoyance, and huge nervousness factor when the fight goes decently(sub 30)
shadow 1- 0:37 BOOM DAI YOU, my best fight in a run attempt with 0:55 or something being my second best

I don't think i'll top it, so if you don't think its good enough so be it. WAY to much went right, which I was happy about cause I did it literally first try after not attempting for a while
Hell yes! Send it in A.S.A.P.! You almost had me when you said you got 10 minutes on Meteor Herd I/We have waited so damn long for someone to give us a decent speedrun of this game and now we have it! You could always try to improve it in the future but I honestly believe that this is definitely publish worthy. I mean its single segmented
Would we need to have a Hero story run that doesn't start with powerups before putting this one up?
Anyway, that's just awesome. VERY few people can get those Sonic times in individual level runs... I wouldn't believe those for a second if it weren't you. You also did a very nice job on Prison Lane.
Also, I don't think I've said it yet, but I'm highly impressed by petrie's latest Dark story run. Most of those times are very solid, especially the hunting ones. It was great to see that speed shoes trick in Sand Ocean, too.
