Some Challenges

Hello everybody. I'm only here to challenge everyone to do a speed run of "Baldur's Gate, Dark Alliance" for the Gamecube console. Use whatever character you please, but do not import a new character. Seing this done on Hard or Extreme mode would be most impressive.
I aslo challenge somebody to do a run on "Neverwinter Nights" for PC. I'm not exactly sure why nobody has done those games yet, perhaps because they are too long. Anyway, some feedback on the idea would be nice.

I honestly would, but I don't have any recording software and even if i did I still wouldn't know how to use it. That goes the same with Baldur's Gate, I dont have the software, nor do I know how to get it and record. Not to mention I'm pretty bad at that game. But if somebody could explain how to record a run.......

Sorry, I meant the BG for gamecube (Dark Alliance). I just don't know how to record a run, so I'm just suggesting it to anyone that feels up to the challenge.

It's easy to record. Just use a VCR.

People suggest runs all the time, but they're rarely done unless the one who wants it done does it themselves. It takes a significant amount of work to make a run... some guest saying "Do this game!" won't convince anyone who isn't already thinking about that game.

In my experience, pretty much the only time a thread is created and a run gets done is when someone posts very detailed notes, and then it will be that person who does it. And sometimes it takes a year.

This is getting really annoying. No one is going to do a run because some guest said so. I wish they would just keep this spam in the speedrun request thread.
