Snowboard Assassin
Can't believe I missed all these posts over a year ago.

@Rakuen - Understandable. Honestly, the code doesn't make any difference if I decide to not use it. Going at this game in a NG+ (being Expert Mode) fashion is the approach I want to take. It's faster, and the challenge is potentially entertaining to watch.

The Dragon Board, in my opinion, shouldn't be taken out of debate entirely. It's a valid snowboard that's unlock-able, albeit it's too easy to use. If we were doing a 100% run, then it'd all have to be done at the beginning, a new game file to finish. There's more to this category than just story mode, so this is a topic for another day.

After watching another racing game, Mario Kart 64, at SGDQ 2015, I wonder if there's a way to use the speed or tricks of these boards to glitch through the game? I'm not familiar with coding or anything. I do know that these race tracks in SBK 2 are linear, so there aren't many circled tracks, like Mario Kart 64. That's where the problem lies. It's unfortunate, because there's gotta be a way to take advantage of the 64's hardware in SBK games no less. For now though, my main concern is finishing the game as fast as possible, glitchless or otherwise.

Right now, if my any% run is viable, then I'm still hanging around that 46 minutes time (room to improve though). I certainly don't mind redoing my run, especially to fit the requirements for SDA.

To my understanding, there's any%, 100%, and NG+ for this game. But I'm not the one in charge of how this game should run. At the least, I'd want there to be a solid ground for getting this game moving.

I'm looking to do another run of this game soon on NG+. Later on, I intend to write up a 100% route.

The SSX series has "wormholes" that allow you to abuse the teleporting back on to the track, so a linear track in itself isn't a problem.  It's getting outside the track, or tricking the teleporter into thinking your further down than you really are in those gaps that already exist.  If I recall, laps only tick when you're on the ski lift, so going back up the mountain probably wouldn't be useful.

That's a good point to bring up about the wormholes. I'll have to test out the falling pits in SBK 2. I could also use the Dragon Board for speed to go beyond the game's tracks and find some places the game normally doesn't want you to race on. The developers definitely implemented a bunch of invisible walls to block you off from going out of bounds. This will just have to take some experimenting, doable at the least.
