WTF?? How did he get 6 hits in durring his stun time? I can only get 5... And that is the only vid I ever seen 6 hits in there as well...

Yeah... I always get stopped before I get a 6th punch out since he just goes dizzy immediately after 5. Maybe it has to do with how fast he counters the first jab or something? Or maybe in PAL he's able to get a 6th punch through? All's I know is it never works for me Undecided

Piston Hurricane in 00:05.52

This is the best I can come up with. My score board is full of 5.56 and 5.54. I think I am gunna call it good for Piston Hurricane...

Nice! Only .03 away from the TAS! I think I'm gonna start trying Rick Bruiser sometime next week. I always liked time attacking the Bruisers. If anyone figures out that KO business on Nick then I'll try him again, but otherwise it just seems like the best strategy is to pray he stays down on knockdown 1.

Also, I am stuck on Bald Bull. I can't get him to go down on the second knock down in 2 hits. So it takes me 3. My best time so far is 10.01

Edit: Just after I posted this I figure out what I was doing wrong... Sub 9 now. Gunna keep going

Edit2: Bald Bull in 8.64. I have been trying different strats, but only the one that I used seems to work at all. I tried TAS strat as well, but I never end up with enough meeter for the hook. I am calling it quits for Bald Bull. I think he can be taken down a bit faster, but not much with my strat, maybe a few frames...

Edit3: Updated first post for the 2 new times

Game Genie code makes opps get KO'ed after 1st knockdown explains why he never gets up. The 6th punch is most likely PAL as zallard said. Or another game genie code that lets you punch faster or something. Have either of you tried the TAS strat to get the 1st knockdown at 5.xx? I am not sure how difficult it is to time that delayed punch but I was told by an expert that there is hardly any frame perfect stuff in this game.

Sidenote: I have been told by a reputable source that there is a lot of cheating/shadiness regarding this game so do not believe everything you see/hear. Good rule of thumb, if the time is faster than the published TAS it is bogus.

@Heidman: good stuff keep working. I am very close to working on this game, I just hope you guys do not finish in the before the end of this month. No rush guys Smiley

I am taking a break from Super C, thus I have LOTS of free time to kick out some of my other projects. And SPO is rather easy for me (compared to Super C that is).

After 54 minutes and 55 seconds, Bob Charlie went down in 5.50. TAS TIME!!!!!!

Edit: 1 hour and 34 min later, I am done with Dragon Chan. I cant seem to get any better timing on this guy. So many delayed punches. Final time for me is 7.84

Edit 2: Masked Muscle down in 6.41

Edit3: Arron Ryan down in 8.60

Lol, I guess I will just have to try and get TAS times when I finally start playing this game to compete with you Heidman, thanks for making things easy on me Tongue

But seriously though, great job, keep cranking out those low times.

I'm just kinda setting the bar. I'm not really putting everything I have into this to be honest. But the more times I drop, the better the improvement will end up being in the end. You, DK, and zillard1 would be better for this IL table than me. I am just doing my part to get it started.

Hi guys !

You just have to make the perfect counter punch. If you succeed, you LittleMac is like excited (his hands are flashing). I've tried, and that's right that most of the time you only can do 5 hits. But sometimes your LittleMac "moves on" fast and it allows you to make 6 hits. With some luck ...

For the moment I'm quite proud of myself, I've some very good times (according to yours). If you need some advices just ask, I've don't play since 3 months but I can help Smiley

(Sorry for my english)

Thanks pp128, that is a good tip. I imagine the counter has to be frame perfect to get the 6 hits in huh? Also are you recording your times so they can be submitted?

@Heidman: Dude, your killin it, just keep doing what your doing. If others can top your times, great, if not they will probably be submittable anyway. I know you have a lot of runs on your plate but you seem to get very good times quickly so may as well devote a small amount of hours to this game right? Makes for a nice break from Super C I bet Smiley

I have devoted no more that 45 min to each fighter so far... Not much time. With the exception of Dragon Chan... Like I said, I am not going all out on this at all. I mean that. I will finish out the IL table with in the next few days if no one else steps up and goes for them. And my plate is as large as I want it to be. Most stuff is just what I want to do, I am only working on like 4-5 at any given time.

Notes so far about the fights.
Gabby Jay - I will prolly come back to him in a bit, he is SUPER easy to get a low time on.
Bear Hugger - I skipped him because I hate him...
Piston Hurricane - Rather easy, just need to get the delayed punches proper for a good time.
Bald Bull - Timing is rough...

Bob Charlie - He is an ass, he needs to STAND FUCKING STILL and not hit me when I am trying to hit him
Dragon Chan - Omg, who ever takes this guy up, GL. I mean it.
Masked Muscle - This guy has some funny blocking issues. He is rather random, so don't let him get the best of your emotions. He WILL block when he feels like it
Mr. Sandman - Skipped him, prolly try my hand at him later tonight

Aaron Ryan - Timing is everything here. I got it down to missing about 2-3 frames... I think... I am unsure w/o looking at what happened.
As for the rest of them, I will prolly get them kicked out in the next few days.

Sinister1 ==> My recorder DVD doesn't work (in fact yes, but he doesn't record the sound), so for the moment I don't make vids ...

I found an other good trick for Nick Bruiser : you have to counter punch him when he makes his "up-hits".
At the beginning, you hit him 2 times. After that, or he hits on your chest, or on your head. It's better on your head. 1/3 of the time, when you counter punch him, you can do 6 hits after that. If all works, at 5:89 he moves back, and you SuperPunch him at 5:94.
It's more easier I think. Do you understand ? Tongue

Yeah I see what you are saying. I will probably use the TAS strategy when I get around to fighting him but if that doesn't work out I will use the 6 hit strat.

@Heidman: You did make an awesome start to this IL table, I highly doubt it would have gotten finished before 2012 otherwise. Now I at least have a chance of contributing, you woulda been done by next week if you kept going.

Congratulations Heidman.

But I absolutely can't understand with this 6:20 at Nick Bruiser is this : when I do two right punches (in his head) like in the video, and after that a counter punch, and I continue with 6 hits, he begins his stunt time at 5:98. So I SuperPunch for 6:03. The man on the video finishes at 6:15 and SuperPunches at 6:20. I counted, and there is no difference in the tech. I do what he does.
I don't think there is only luck in this time ...
Willing to teach you the impossible
Some notes about some of the fighters.

Bear Hugger - I did not even try anything with
Dragon Chan - More time could come off this one. There are 4 delayed punches and time suffers because of that. Also he does not always heal after the first KD...
Mr. Sandman - Did not try anything with him
Mad Clown - The second KD is the hardest imo. The first one is a but random with his blocking, but doable
Super Machoman - GOOD FUCKING LUCK GETTING SUB 11!!!!!! His strat is SOOOOOO frame perfect that I cant get it... like at all
Narcis Prince - I think the TAS time could be reached, not much to learn for this fight really...
I did nothing with the rest of the crew. Hope this info gives some others an idea of what is left for this table

Damn sir, you're speedrunning your speedrunning... I like your style Cheesy

But seriously, these are all super solid times. Even if you've only spent a handful of minutes on each, it's still extremely impressive. You're raising the bar quite well for this game I'd say! Keep it up if you can! Someone's gotta get that Nick time down to 7 Wink

I am still on MTPO, but like you with Super C, I am frustrated to the point of considering submitting my best run. Which if I do, I will be starting on these IL's.

Do you still have your vids DK28 and zillard1?

Edit: Mr. Sandman is my next target
B+Left, Left, Up+B, ★
I still have gabby and nick on hand. Almost lost them due to my laptop consistently failing to start, but I got the files out of the hdd, as well as everything else I had luckily. I can't help with the IL table at the moment, since I don't think the capture card I have will capture footage from my wii correctly. Might be some settings I need to mess with so it'll work right. Good luck with Sandman, Heidrage!

Is there any potential for you to still lose the videos? If so, send them to me for safety!!! Them be amazing times and I don't want to lose them.
