Well, I have been working on this here and there for a lil bit, but just now made some progress. I am hoping to get some help from others (DK28 for sure) to help make a good table. I don't know if others are working on this, or if there is already a thread, but I will keep the first post updated as the IL table is being filled out.

EDIT: I guess I should say that I have a 10.82 on Nick Bruiser. I think it can be done faster, but he wont stay down on the second knockdown

Sweet stuffs Sinister, I am almost done with X2 then I will focus on SPO more.

I am gunna continue with the Special. If you are gunna do minor, go for it, but I will try my hand at Bear Hugger regardless. May the best fighter win.

Also, if anyone feels the times can be improved, I think we should encourage the competition. But that is just me.

It has been about 15 years since I played this game so I will need a bit of practice before I know who I am taking on. I guess I should have asked for SPO for Xmas this year Tongue

@heidman: I agree, the competition will help. It certainly helped me complete the mtpo IL table with Adelikat.

While looking through some old videos, I found one from when I was semi-time-attacking this game before PO Wii came out of a Gabby Jay in 6.30 (I did him in 6.28 a couple of times, but didn't record). I decided to mess around today and see if I could do anything else to help the table.

I got a surprise KO out of nowhere when fighting Nick Bruiser with a time of 9.64! This was the first time I ever got a KO on him, and I just so happen to record it Smiley

I recorded both of those, so they're all ready to be submitted. I might try to lower Gabby a little to get closer to that 6"23 later though. Not sure if I can get that lucky on Nick again.

I hope you get some SPO fighters down, sinister1. I think it would be kinda neat to have the folks that are running MTPO, SPO, and PO(Wii) be a part of the same IL table. I doubt the 2 ones I did will stay till the end though, but I'll still try to improve 'em and see what happens. I also wish you luck on your MTPO SS run and your IL table. Those will be some amazing watches when you get them done!

He's basically always like that for me too. I have no clue how he stayed down this time, but I wish I knew (if it isn't totally luck based that is). Did you ever get any 5.xx knockdowns on Nick using that video Rane posted? I couldn't get the timing for that delayed punch down to where I could hit him again to send him into a dizzy.

Christmas came early for me this year, I found all my old SNES games that had been lost for 7 years. One of them is SPO so hopefully I will finish mtpo very soon and I can join the fun. I already started doing some research and I think we need to be getting close to the TAS times for ALL fighters. There is really no excuse for not doing so since the degree of randomness is miniscule compared to other games and you get infinite attempts in time attack mode. It is time to push it to the limit boys.

@zallard1: I am pretty sure you cannot go lower than 6.26 on Gabby Jay unless you are playing on PAL or some new technique has been found recently that I do not know about.

Awesome, glad to hear you got your SPO back! I'm relatively new to time attacking SPO, so I was going off of pp128's post and a video I saw on youtube of the 6.23, so if both of those were PAL, then I guess we'll be shooting for 6.26 then.

Do you happen to know what the deal is with the KO's in this game? They seem to be pretty random to me, as I've seen videos of Nick going down for the count in 6 seconds from the first knockdown.

Either there's insane luck required, or there's something we could manipulate to get KO's more often. In the comments, he mentions it being possible to get sub-6 on him if you "can hit this ridiculous glitch." Any ideas on this?

WTF?? How did he get 6 hits in durring his stun time? I can only get 5... And that is the only vid I ever seen 6 hits in there as well...
