There are a couple of so called "time attacks" available at bisqwit.iki.fi/jutut/nesvideos.html

Though these are cheated with slow motion and often thounsands and thousands of save/load, they are more for entertainment then showing talent. They are quite incredible, a metroid video in around 17 minutes, but of course, it also used 2900 save/loads.
