Silent Bomber (PS1)

After many tries, I at last get new PB / WR.
New time is 45:33, and I think this is my final time. I probably won't do more attemps.

The reason why I won't try and improve it more, is because I think I get the best mix with RNG / Luck and good run. I didn't made any stupid mistake, there are probably places where I could save time, but again there are places where I would lost time for sure. Also another reason is that I don't have any competition, so when I get the goal I wanted (time around 45:30) I felt satisfied, and well, now I want to try play and speedrun other games. I could still try and play NTSC version, but well I can't for now and I dunno if I ever will.
Or I could try 100% - all S mission, but I really not sure about that. . . or try and beat burningsteel segmented run (lol yeah sure . . .)

I checked my best time overall, and I get 44:04 so getting time slower by only 1:30 isn't that bad. Before I found new strat on Benoit my best was 45:05. I also timed fight with him. On my last PB it took me 1:40 to kill him, and with new strat it only takes 40-60 sec depending on RNG so I'm saving around 1min, other places where I saved time are from other mission where I didn't made any mistakes.

Shame the RNG wasn't so nice during the middle part, but a VERY smooth mission 13 and final mission.
Looking forward to seeing this in the verification queue.

Yeah sorry for that. I didn't had enough free time to do anything productive. In short, Exams in my school.
Soon I should get little more free time, so I will try and do something about it.

Also I started to playing Parasite Eve 2, and I started to routing it, so I think I will focus more on this game now.
BUT I found some good video on Youtube that show how to get rank S on ALL Missions from start to the end, so maybe I will try make new category: 100% aka All S Rank + Data chips.
But for now, I'm focusing on Exams, then on PE2 and then on doing acceptable video that I would submit to verification. And sorry for delay again.

So far I only posted a quality test, and I don't know if there will be anything more serious any time soon. Somehow I feel uncomfortable about this, can't say why. . . For now I will try get more into streaming and speedrunning, so I hope after spending more time here, I will feel confident enough to do more.

Loved this game as a kid, followed you hoping for streams of it, going to watch your pb soon, please think again about continuing running it! Gratz on the pb!

Thanks. About speedrunning this game once again, I think I will. After a while with Parasite Eve 2 and problems with PS2 not being able to emulate this game good enough, I will buy PS3, new capture card (EasyCap - out, new EzCap - on ) and new monitor.
I found this thread about ps3 so if I get it right, I will be able to play my PAL version of game on 60 fps, so that means my time on both game Silent Bomber and Parasite Eve 2 can be easy improve on PS3.

In next few days I should get everything, so I should be able to start speedrunning in next week.

You might want to verify the 50 -> 60 Hz thing with the mods to see if it's ok.

Ok I got answer about 60 Hz so now I know how it works now and I have my PS3 and well, I'm quite disappoint.
I wanted PS3 for 2 reasons:
- I wanted to play some of the PS3 games
- I was thinking that PS3 will play PS1 games as fast as PS2, but it's slower Sad

50% of my reasons isn't true, which is sad for me. I was hoping for something else, and I get something else.

But I did give a word I would speedrun game once again, and I will with PS2 but I need a little more time after this mistake.
