I've put in only one submission for now, but, as my exams finish in mid-June, I'll be doing a lot more stuff, so if it's possible, I'd like to submit one or two more runs later (you said submissions would probably have an end-of-June deadline, right?)

Might throw in some of my ESA rejects. But I want to ask, what category is that Scott Pilgrim run? Also what system. If it's X360 there's potential for an online co-op run here.

I don't know tbh everything that is on that games list is all the info he gave. Tbh i didn't even know there was seperate categories until you just said it lol

Well, categories is difficulty, and if it's NG or NG+ (but regular NG is pretty dumb to run). Characters too, I guess, but that's the one that matters the least timewise. I run NG+ on hardest difficulty, but I can't see a run with an estimate of only 50 minutes being on hardest. Accounting for estimates including buffer I'm guessing the submitted run is on NG+ Easy, NG+ Hard safe estimate is at least an hour and a little more. My best time is 56 minutes there.

So yeah you whoever submitted that, come here and explain yourself!

Hey, I've only just started speedrunning after lurking for about a year, this will be my first marathon. Put in Earthworm Jim 3D 100% which can be commentated by kefka14 if he's up for it and I may throw in Kirby Air Ride all tracks. If my stream quality is good enough I'd love to be included.

EckoAP91 suggested to me turning Super Mario Galaxy into a race. Same estimate. I submitted it in the form also.

Can you explain some more about how the marathon will be run? What channel will it be streamed on? How will the streaming work (restream or what)? I assume donations will be through Paypal, will donations be going directly to the hospital or to a personal account first?
The marathon's a ways away so it's alright if all that's not figured out yet, just keep us updated. Smiley

It will be restreamed on LP3Cinema twitch channel. The schedule and other logistics about how it will be ran will come up later. I am also in the works of contacting Sick Kids Hospital about opening there own paypal account that donations can be sent to. But people will stream on hitbox and the restreamers will restream it to LP3Cinema Smiley

Is there a possibility to withdraw our run(s) if we feel like it ?
And there is something I don't understand, where are we gonna stream ? Twitch ? Hitbox ? Our personnal channel or a specific one ? It would be nice to know as soon as you can.

Well, I may put a submission if there is no issue for me.

Excuse my bad English, this is not my native language and i'm still learning it ^^

I'm submitting two games. However, I may end up having to drop this due to internet issues, but we shall see. Let's hope this works out well!
Possibility of submitting Donkey Kong '94 in the future if I get feeling better with that run.
Edit: Also, first game, Hot Wheels Turbo Racing allows nine characters for file name (may be a good bidding war option). So far all I can think of is CapFalcon and FrankerZ. Any other suggestions?

Idea for a run, will submit if others think it sounds good enough.
Random characters F-Zero X all Master Cups.
Put the names of all 30 characters in a hat, pull one out. I have to use whatever ship I pull out for that cup.
I can't pull out all the fancy tricks you saw at AGDQ (especially not with random characters) but I can very easily and very consistently win every Master Cup with any character. I'd include the X cup in my run (6 randomly generated tracks).
Do you guys think it would work for this marathon or not?

Considering I am doing this basically by myself I am going to need ALOT of time to organize the rest of this so the submissions will be closed next week May 18th So if you have anymore submissions now is the time and also thank you to everyone who has submitted so far let's do some great things for Sick Kids Hospital

Just submitted a couple games myself. Although I might not be able to participate depending on how my internet is in August, I'll keep you updated on if I will be able to stream.

Bit of a bump but I found out that I can stream at any time for the marathon so that should help you out with scheduling any of my runs if you decide to use them
