Sick Kids Marathon

Basically everything is sorted out the marathon will start August 21st until September 1st or until all the runs are done. All money donated is going to Sick Kids Hospital. All submitted runs will more then likely be on unless streaming or stream quality is an issue. Some details with the charity will be sorted out and how the marathon will run and the schedule will be discussed after the submitting period is over.

Is this an online marathon? Are there specific game restrictions? Will there be donation incentives of any kind? Is there going to be any sort of standard with regards to maturity levels, like swearing, drug references, etc.? What are your specs so that we know your re-streaming qualifications? Will there be any live aspects to it? Is there going to be a mumble/skype aspect to it?

I imagine there's a lot of time to plan this out, but there's a ton of questions to be asked that I'm not even sure where to begin with asking.

It is online. It has to be a speedrun is really the only restriction (but no like 20 hour runs lol) you can say if you want donation incentives in your explanation of game if we find a cool one we might ask you though. Swearing is ok ( at a minimal if you can though) let's not get to out of hand with drug references and sex references and such. Most people will be streaming there own run but on the LP3 Cinema twitch channel I'll discuss how that would work later. My specs are gonna improve drastically before this obviously so giving you an answer to that now would be redundant. Skype'll be used to talk to people. Mumble might be back up i gotta figure out how to use it first lol. Be more specific with live aspects im not sure what you mean

only problem would be since it is in september I don't know if i will work to that time or not,
Because I will finish studying in 1month so I can't really tell. Tongue

It starts August 21st so you could always ask to get put closer to the start date if that works for you the original post has a submission form linked Smiley
