Hello!

I've been trying to find a way to show real-time gamepad button presses on screen while I'm recording PC games.

Like in the bottom right of this video for example:
.

I tried to research "Peer Cast" which is what the little controller picture in the video says, but it appears to only be a video broadcasting program (or else I can't figure out how to display the button presses). I also tried messaging the creator of the video but he only uploaded that one video over a year ago and I have yet to receive a response.

So far, I've found a program called Keyboard Jedi which shows keyboard presses, but as I'm playing with a gamepad, I would ideally like to be able to have a graphical representation like in that VVVVVV video.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of a program I could use for this.

The program is called Padlight. I haven't used it, so I can't really say anything about the setup. All I know is that it's Japanese, free and can be modded to look like gamepads.
Wow, thanks so much for the fast response! That's exactly what I was looking for Smiley
Oh hey, if I knew this existed I wouldn't have made my own AutoHotkey script to do something similar. Also, I found the same skin used in that no-death mode video (lol geocities).

Some people during the Spooktacular expressed interest in the keyboard input script I used for my VVVVVV run, So I've zipped and attached it here. It is still a bit messy because it includes commented out stuff from the example script I butchered to fit my needs. It shouldn't be too hard to modify this script to match the input for your own game, but don't expect much in the way of support from me.
