Ah, so the hertz count is in the same view as the buffer mode? Ah, you meant "refresh rate" on the page you linked. Got it.

So I guess the new rules page is ready then. Good job team!

Last Friday, pre-orders for Mega SG's other cartridge adapters were out.
They were only available in a bundle which was annoying as they were initially announced as items you could buy separately.
SG 1000, Mark III (think Japanese Master System carts) and Game Gear.

Shame to hear that. I guess it doesn't change anything from our point of view though?

The pros with the Game Gear:
You can change the system language BIOs which does alter some games ranging from title screen changes (Streets of Rage to Bare Knuckle) to an additional level (Ristar 2-1 is playable in JP but US needs level select cheat to play that level)
The notable con is that it doesn't support Gear to Gear cable so no Streets of Rage 2 co-op.

Overall:
It's a good method of playing Game Gear carts in HDMI without the fear of 30 year old capacitors failing.

Warning: The 1.0 Game Gear adapter carts are defective and can damage the Mega SG after prolonged use.
Analogue has confirmed that suitable replacements will be sent to the customers in about 30 days.
Put that warning in the rules as well in case someone catches it there.
