Game: Bioshock Category: Any% Estimate: 1:00:00 Description/Other Info: A lot of skips with a lot of variety with tje skips. Some involve flying through the air on a suitcase. Some involve teleporting across the map. Pretty neat. There are also quite a few dialogue skips and suicide warps. Overall, it's a pretty interesting run.

Please dont submit games without talking to the communities that run them
It's common courtesy to talk to a community before submitting games but that doesn't mean, as a runner, I am soft banning myself from submitting to any marathon just because some of the better runners may want to be in instead and/or due to personal bias against a runner (not saying this is the case but there's no reason to call him out). It's up to the organizers to determine if said runner is fit for the marathon.
Also there's no rule that states one can't submit w/o community "consent." I don't know much about the Halo community but I'm fairly positive it's a strong community with strong runners, each of which can showcase the game with their own unique twist on it.
Please dont submit games without talking to the communities that run them
CORRECTION: Please don't submit Halos without talking to that community. Most other communities don't have this assholish tendency, and will be fine if you submit without talking to them (With the understanding that if someone better submits the same game, they should get the slot, of course).
EDIT: Okay, calling the Halo community "assholish" was out of line, especially in light of the clarification. I apologize for that (But am leaving it there for posterity). However, I stand by the substance of the above--most non-Halo communities will be fine if you submit a game to a marathon without consulting "the community" first.
Halodude has informed me that Firewhorse doesn't have a recorded run of Halo 2 or 3, has never spoken to the community at all, and his Twitch and SDA accounts are brand new. Monopoli's comment is justified in that sense. However what he said wasn't clear at all by any means and was easily misconstrued lol
Anyways, let's just get back to submitting stuff instead of talking about this.

Most other communities weren't softbanned from GDQs due to poor marathon runs. But, yknow, context
*sigh* Halo games have had some questionable showings in previous marathons (*cough* Cody Miller *cough*), which is why the Haloruns community is in general more vary about less experienced runners entering marathons. Also I think while Firewhorse does have recorded runs of the games, they're on a different account. Thus he looked like a completely unknown runner.

Everyone should submit their games! The organizers will choose the best games to fit the marathon, and contact communities to ask about runners if needed.

He has no obligations towards anyone for submitting this besides Shaddex idk why you pretend otherwise.

I don't think Shaddex is dumb enough to accept a terrible runner and then blame the game when it doesn't go well.
hello, goatrope here. i would like to request that everyone please remember that a single person's comment does not reflect the opinions of the entire community of hundreds of Halo runners, no matter how many twitch followers that one person has. thank you for understanding.
