Yeah i used the s_fly_mode 0/1 command.

Also it is possible to make a tas using a console command to make the game slow the time down.

Me and NicoTn were grinding C16 for a way to skip the huge fight at the end, well I came up with this(starts at ~2:30):

Sorta works but the tree part is pretty rough.

Did some editing on the doc, hope I didnt break anything!
Also this might be new:

Also you dont need the box, you can get up there without it, tho with the box its easier.

Finally finished a decent/good run of NG+ any%. Got sub 1:30 so I'm happy with this right now.

got 1:44 NG any% run, would have been sub 1:40 but I died to chapter 11 boss and had to waste 7 mins refighting.

Also redemption99, this rule; Cannot use money to buy ammo. is stupid imo.

The rule is only for NG+, because if we can use money to buy ammo then everyone will need to beat the game a few times to get a ton of money on their EX profile, which is kinda silly since we already have to farm up max ammo and upgrades for it to be the perfect EX file. Of course this is just my opinion, i mean it's doable either way it just takes more time to set up the EX profile. (aka two+ runs of the game)

Also skype group sounds cool, i'll send you a FR, i'm already on the IRC's when i am on.

It just limits what weapons i can use on bosses.

I mean, i could be wrong and if everyone else thinks we should be able to buy ammo in NG+, i don't mind, i just thought it was silly as you could just use rocket launcher everywhere then.

Don't think I have all the upgrades on my NG+ file, only the ones I feel are useful.
Didn't buy any ammo thats for sure, don't really mind if you buy ammo since 30 rockets are enough for me to do a run.

Did a 1:22:40ish run of NG+, close to the WR but i know my fights could be better especially in chapter 13. This one has the two new skips in it as well.

So, just because I'm a little slow...the release version of the game (1.0) is the only way to run the game, and the GoG version is the only one that can be downgraded to release version?

I'm interested in learning this run, but I'm having a bit of trouble reverting back to v.1.0. I installed the DirectX 9 GoG version of the game and then copied all of the files from the rar into the game's install folder. Now all of the in game text has been replaced with garbage. I've attached a screenshot of the pause menu. Any idea of how to fix the text?

On the plus side, the game is at version 1.0 and the tricks for any% in chapter 1 and chapter 2 all work (I wasn't able to get trench skip because it's hard).

EDIT: After setting the graphics to low, the text fixed itself. I'm not sure if this will always fix the problem, but it worked for me!

Can still get faster obviously, I don't think I will make another one of these for this game but if the sequel is good I'll probably do one for that once it gets figured out!
