Sorry to see it got broken, Augora. Sad I bet if I won a Master Sword it'd end up broken, too--people are conspiring to prevent either of us from becoming the Hero!

Oh no! I'm so sorry about the Triforce - I thought I wrapped it up enough so that wouldn't happen. Sad

It's broken along a seam, so it may be fixable.  I'll ask my mom if it's able to fix and what you'd need to do.

It's okay Essentia, I blame the mailman. Those guys are never careful with packages.

Thanks DW. I hope it's fixable. I was thinking super glue.

All right, I talked to her.

Couple things you can try.  First, you can try glue.  Not super glue, though, there are glass glues out there that would work better.  Either that, or a glue called E6000.  Use that.

If the bond doesn't hold, she recommends getting a clear piece of glass, cut it to shape, and glue both pieces to that piece.

While the glue is setting (both options), she mentioned using a plastic tape to help hold the seam together while glue is drying.

After that, she starting going into real elaborate ways to try to fix it which went way over my head, but we can get into those, I guess if those first two options don't work.

Fire fixes glass.  It requires a bit of practice though, so I don't recommend it.

Just fix the top part onto the bottom part and wait until the viscosity of the glass has made them grow together again … shouldn't take much longer than 500 years, but sounds equally easy to using fire in a private household Wink
I stand corrected—sorry ^^'

Just do it in the garage.  Problem solved.

(also that whole "glasses being viscous and drooping over time" thing is a myth)

While my suggestion has been deemed unfeasible, the problem still holds on how to create a high enough fire temperature Wink

That's no problem.  It's pretty easy to get a torch.

But, like I said, I wouldn't recommend trying it without experience.

Sorry to necro this thread (even though it's still on the first page), but I'd like to say that my Evil the Cat perler just arrived and is 100% safe.

Here's a close-up of him sitting on a Goomba and plotting after his last minor setback: http://i.imgur.com/QZISh.jpg

And here he is chilling with a very small sampling of my plushie collection as well as the Sonic perler I won last AGDQ: http://i.imgur.com/6a05p.jpg

Thanks again guys and here's to many more successful charitythons!

Just gonna say the Wii got here in tact. (With 33 dollars in fees cuz the canadian government is stupid (However I might be able to get a refund)) With New Super Mario Bros Wii.

Were there two packages? Because I don't see the other two games or the Wii Wheels (Or was this a different prize?)
Everything's better with Magitek
deathfire, the wheels and games were with a different prize package. (There were two wii prizes given out.)
Gimme some sugar Shaggy!

The Wii Wheels went to Essentia's kids. That's why you didn't get them. Tongue

Great news. Triforce has been fixed!

Got some of the E-6000 glue and it worked like a charm.

So now that the Triforce is in working order, I'm guessing the first order of business is to use it to wish for a Wind Waker in a few months?

But careful: If you are unbalanced, it will break into its three parts again =O

So to anyone that has a Wii, is there a special way you have to put in Wii or Gamecube discs because the Wii I got doesn't seem to want to read any discs.
