Haters gonna hate

Wow, good catch on the kick owning the little birds on the fourth boss Normand. Though while it's definitely easier than one cycling it with the projectile, I don't think it's faster simply due to the "shape up" animation and not starting level 5 at the lowest possible weight.

Actually I always start level 5 at the lowest weight. Normally, if you get a shape up while landing the final hit on the boss, you're good to go (as long as you get a good timer bonus)

I think it's pretty funny but awesome if someone searches youtube for this game, they will get all these speedrunning results.

I'm a little concerned that people will be afraid to post if they don't have an ALL, but maybe that won't hold if we have more difficult games in future weeks.

Had a less then great stage 5 and completely botched the stage part of 6 (missed the first ladder jump and jumped too early on the second slide). Straight up owned the final boss though, and any other mistakes were decidedly minor.

God damn pig boss is sucking my patience. Even if you don't get hit and play the battle perfectly your time differs by multiple seconds every time.

I belive that the absolute lowest time without any tas shit is 10:17, MAYBE a second lower, it requires TONS of luck though. 2nd boss comes to mind which works out like every 50th attempt or less for me. I have to add that I had a perfect attempt today which went all the way to the last boss where I got so nervous that I fucked up his second phase and destroyed him after four fireballs or whatever that is. If not for this it would have been a ~10:17 run.

Btw did ANYONE manage to waste the last boss's second form before his second shot? I had a couple of attempts where I fired away at him at point blank never missing a bullet and the closest that I got was one bullet short.

Yes, it's easy, but it requires good timing, as I already said. You need to dodge the first shot at the last decisecond and start shooting his weak spot right when it becomes vulnerable

I swear I tried doing the last boss the same way 500 times and never got him before his second shot.

Also, I have some theories for the pig. I'll test them when I get home and post my results here.

Done. The pig could be done more than 40 frames faster, same goes for the fourth boss. So because this is a mid 10:13 I can easily assume that 10:11 is doable if anyone is interested in beating my time.

As for the pig: the strategy is simple, just shoot it without ever dodging so that you're not in the line where your bullets won't hit it. If you won't get hit doing so, you'll have a perfect boss fight.
