Ah, on the contrary I thought Pocky & Rocky was insanely difficult, since I never play shmups.
You're right about the power, once I get it I never lose it. At the end of the sidescrolling part of stage 3 I have like 225 seconds of it left.
Hm.. if N and F are the same power then I could probably utilize N a little more. I still think F is superior on bosses because it sticks around. You can hit, dodge, then hit again all without having the stream of damage interrupted (and it's seemingly ~200 dps). Though I could use N more often for the levels themselves for places like when a huge robot or something similar gets in my way. H is still really nice during the stages because it basically obliterates everything since a lot of the enemies die in one or a few hit(s). On side-scrollers, it's godly. I never use G.
I'll have to look for that shortcut in stage 4. Definitely didn't catch it first time around. That would help immensely as that stage always has my worst health-management.
And I've never used Fraps.
