The Ho boat skip is simple after the fade out you recruit a homie then disband causing the heli to crash. You have to be quick you need to disband before the heli starts moving otherwise it will not work.
All it is is 3 game mechanics stacked to make a 4th happen. They are;
1. If you have followers any vehicle you enter becomes yours even if you are not driving.
2. seemingly there are 2 type of homies, one which you are bound to and you have some control over them meaning you are responsible for them and two which loosely tethered to you and you have no real control over and what happens to them is not your responsibility(sometime they are not even your homies like the saints backup).
3. If you disband you gang anyone who is no longer with you will leave your vehicle as soon as you are stationary.
4 On some missions there are safety nets put in place to prevent soft locks for example on gangbang if you jump of the roof you are defending though it is a survivable height, as you can parachute, there is a plane in midair that, if you try to cross, kills you. In the fly over missions if you leave the rail of the auto-scroller and the vehicle gets destroyed or becomes out of range the game assumes it is not your fault and give you a mission pass.
So when you recruit you take over control of the heli and change your homies from type one to type two, when you then disband if you are still stationary the pilot thinks the heli is yours and jumps out meaning it leaves the mission rail falls into the water and is destroyed triggering the next part of the mission.
On xbox and possible unpatched versions of PC this is also possible on Kenzi’s Guardian Angel.
