Run Submissions Suggestion

I love YaBB 1G - SP1!

You mentioned in the news today about the problems with people trying to tell you about their runs and how busy you are. Have you ever thought to maybe make a submission form on the site? You could have entry boxes for game name, system, time, difficulty. Radio buttons for SS or segmented as well as a comments section. Have all that emailed to an email account in an orderly fashion and it may be easier to manage.

Just a thought. The formmail script is available for free on the web to process the submissions from the page and the form page itself is easy to create. I could even whip it up if you wanted.

Haha yeah, someone really should whip up some scripts and whatnot to give SDA (some of) the functionality we have in the quake section, with record history, player profiles, different kinds of statistics etc etc

No thanks, then lots of assholes will fill in junk information and hit submit thinking it makes them cool. It already happens with the DVD page.

I think you're still sore about the time you set up just such a voting page for suggestions for new maps to be added and you got several hundred votes for DM3 :-)
