I don't think BN6 would be a very good race. Terra and I both run on different versions of the game which makes a big difference. The game doesn't have much luck involved, but in a couple boss fights, dungeons, and general random encounters there are factors that can make for really one sided races. Gregar which is the version I run can make the 2:30 estimate, but Falzar which is what Terra plays would need a 2:45-2:50 estimate.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO KH 1.5! I have to say, personally, I'd rather it not be a donation incentive for difficulty, but I understand the reasoning if you decide to go with it. Not for running reasons, btw, just because I think Beginner is much more optimized, and Standard is similar to Proud, which was obviously run at AGDQ 2016.

Would you guys be OK with picking a version of the game and doing a co-op run (split up playing vs. commentating) then, or deciding among the two of you who does a solo run?

Okay on a not-making-fun-of-Brossentia note...
For Yo-kai Watch, it's in a weird place. The run doesn't make a ton of sense as a coop run, since either splitting it up chapter by chapter, or half and half still is going to come off incredibly unbalanced - whoever gets the last chapter basically does what is by far the hardest part of the run (It's not like, say KH2 where the early part of the run has stuff like Hades Escape - the difficulty curve is very linear and continually goes up). A race is the easiest way to get both myself and Osey involved without sacrificing too much - the game is straightforward enough to be understood, I believe. There are a few points of RNG that will either act as a catch up mechanic or kill the race, which is kinda unfortunate. Osey and I will keep talking and we'll figure it out if you for sure don't want the race.
Other things that could be fun for a race - I use the girl and Osey uses the boy, and I can run in Japanese and text speed/type has no influence on time.
I will say that if we did an incentive for a fight between the players, it wouldn't be influenced by race vs no race. On a race, the loser could go for the runback and both players would have identical teams. If you decide that you for sure want the solo/coop, Osey and I will build two epic teams before hand and duke it out on stream (only one capture would be needed).
Anyways, the tldr is that we'll be in touch lol and thanks for putting it in!
