Sadly, the 1st OoB (avoid molotov + 2 guys part) is not doable anymore but the 2nd one (avoid wall + pool) is, but it's still tricky to get.

You can also use the OOB to skip the shotgun and the fights in the village, but:

If it weren't for the softlock, it actually would have been a really good time save.

Too bad about the softlocks, perhaps there is a way to do larger skips such as the shotgun and reloading a checkpoint or something Sad

Eydas, nice find again ! We were looking for that Flame arrow skip for quite a while !
Unfortunately the OoB on X360 is a bit different so it's not doable the way you do it... I have to make a huge detour so it doesn't save time Sad

I'll try to look for something later, I would be so disappointed not to make the most of that skip...

EDIT: Ok, it finally works but there is still a scary jump to do.^^

Trying to find more skips'n stuff but my game keeps softlocking after the fire arrow part... Cutscene after the small swamp part doesn't want to trigger :/

Did you pick up the pistol? Otherwise the cutscene where Jacob and others are captured won't trigger. And if you die, you get a softlock.
Also, I'm fairly certain Crystal Dynamics patched my Early Climbing Arrows OOB on purpose. They added some trees to block access.
I found another way to do it, though. I'll make a video later.

After the first OOB in Soviet Installation, make sure you go near the dead guy to pick up the pistol.

so in Flooded archives i found a way to get out of bounds in the room with the giant statue puzzle you can clip through the doors over the sulfur room couldn't get anywhere from there tho

How do you do this consistently?
I managed to do half of this once, just keep sliding off.

EDIT
I noticed that FPS matters just as much in this game as in the previous iteration, I could not do the first water skip in the prophets tomb without setting it to 60hz and vertical sync on.

As for camera angles and keyinputs it works pretty much the same as in tr2013.
But to trigger the skywalk I spam back 3 times instead of 2. The rest is just practise.

How important is the knife for this run?

I have found a way (but bloody incositent) to skip the entire elevator. And then there is another way to get up to the platform next to the elevator where you have to cut the ropes but it would also skip the knife.

might be frameratedependent @CptKiwi could you show us your frame rate in those areas (using fraps/steam whatever works)? Smiley

same for the flooded archives WIP even if it softlocks i tried that spot before since i noticed it being glitchy and could not get up there

And you do need the knife to solve the puzzle so skipping it is not an option right now.
