FEAR MY WRATH.

Finally, I got my job.
Finally, I have my apartment.
Finally, I am getting back my computer and games.

I am not kidding, I am pissed off for not being able to do a Zelda run in over three months.

So for everyone out there doing a run or that just did one, be warned.  I've been able to talk about this, and watch others do that.  Rodrigo get a LA run here and an ALttP run there...new MM run...people talking about beating my OoT run...oh boy.

I'm on the warpath.  And by that, I mean, more than one run at a time I will be working on because I have all this rage I want to channel into kicking Zelda ass.

So, here it is.  2006 Speed Run Schedule.  Fear it.

Janaury 2006 - The Legend of Zelda (NES) - Sub 32.  Spectacle Rock is an Entrance to Death.
February 2006 - Majora's Mask (N64) - Sub 3:30 minimalist.  And I mean well under, not just a minute.
March 2006 - Link's Awakening DX (GBC) - Sub 1:35.  Time to show Rodrigo who's the boss.
April 2006 - Oracle of Ages/Seasons (GBC) - I'm sure both will be close to two hours.  I'll be doing everything possible to get those times under 2 hours.
May 2006 - The Minish Cap (GBA) - 2:30.  I found out some new stuff and two Tiger Scrolls which will save time.
June 2006 - The Adventure of Link (NES) - Sub 1 hour.  Candles are for wimps.
July 2006 - Four Swords Adventures (GCN) - 24 days of improvements coming your way.
August 2006 - Zelda's Adventure (CD-i) - All will share in my pain of enduring this game.
September 2006 - The Wand of Gamelon/The Faces of Evil (CD-i) - More pain from the depths of Zelda hell.
October 2006 - A Link to the Past (GBA) - Minimalist and Palce of the Four Sword runs.
November 2006 - The Wind Waker (GCN) - Let's see if this new trick I found out is discovered by anyone else in a year's time.  Amazing what only having TWW for 3 months can produce out of boredom.
December 2006* - Ocarina of Time (N64) - Segmented uber run to end all runs.  If nobody has made a god damn segmented run by this time next year, I am going ape shit and am going to put out a segmented run that will make my current 4:57 run look like crap.  If somebody else makes a respectable segmented run by this time, replace this item with whatever month Twilight Princess comes out (so if it comes out April, TP takes April's spot, bump all others one month back).

And I am not joking this time around.  No more half-assed attempts.  In 12 months I will hold all the times on these games, and I am retiring this time next year.  Then you all can have all the fun you want beating them or trying.

Somebody said someone else was better at Zelda than me...oh boy...heads are going to roll.

Oh, TSA, you never cease to amuse me.
"With this, sadly (or happily for you competitors), I am forever done with speed running Ocarina of Time" Taken from your OoT comment.  Wink

Seriously, though. Welcome back to the running. I'm very happy to hear some cd-i runs will be done.
Woo Hoo I can't wait for these Grin Grin Grin

yeah, sure. Hope you're kidding again :p

I played that game a few days ago and rewatched your run. Please, next time when you have to split, charge your sword early. Rolling fast to the colored stones, then standing around while waiting for the sword to charge is sooo slow Wink
The CD-i runns can be all yours. And if you still even like Zelda by the end of that, then...well...yeah...

Hmm, lets see, Zelda Scientists(tm) search for game breakers a whole year and you execute it then.
Should I make a folder called "OoT sub4" already?
The man made of sticks
Unnecessary drama noted.
100% runs=great to watch
You will never escape Zelda TSA....surely there'll be a DS game...and somebody will figure out a way to capture them in the next year or so.

Embrace your dominion and rule with an iron fist for all time. :fro:
welcome to the machine
Sorry TSA, but if you take the LA record from rodrigo before I do, I'm taking it back from you.

Fair notice. Tongue

Somebody has to do the OoT run between now and then...so it was more of incentive for others to do it. It's also dependent on TP not coming out next year, which isn't happening...so you won't be seeing another OoT run by me.

The word you want is "you're".
Looking forward to all of them (maybe not the CDI, but each to his own  ;D).

I'm heartily waiting for Majora's Mask.  I hope it will be amazing!  Segmented, right? (Sub 3:30 SS would be close to impossible).
Time to indulge myself while sparing myself the CD-i runs...
I actually look foward to the CD-i runs, just to see what all the fuss is about. Problem is he'll more that likely skip those cutscenes I've heard so much about.(Though from what I've heard,we won't be missing much.)
I thought it was just a surprise party!

Oh boy, I can't WAIT to bomb some Dodongos!

*shudder*

Oh...dear...God...
What evil creature spawned such evil?
Please tell me those CAN be skipped!

The one great thing about the CD-i games - You can skip the cut scenes.

Except for this one:
