mmh wow... i speedran a lot of Resident Evil 5 with a friend on split screen and we were up to the point of recording it, when i found out that those ppl got it in 4 minutes less than we did... how much glitching did they use? We had 1:50 without any glitches...

There are no glitches in RE5 to speak of outside of the checkpoint glitch, which is direct timer manipulation, and therefore not a speedrun.

Also, now that I think about it, so help me god if RE6 has forced co-op.

It doesnt really matter if someone uses inf ammo or not. Just do what ever is faster. If inf ammo is faster then use it.

Infinite anything is cheating so no lol - While were at it lets use "cheats" for any type of speed run for any type of game from now on and just remove the whole idea of SKILL being used.

Haha, a completely restart Resident Evil 5 run takes like 4 times longer than a regular (my best time was about 5:30 or such), maybe you can keep both? I dont know what SDA regulation is on this theme, but imho, ingame settings arent cheats.

Looks like it's part co-op, part solo. The trailer shows Leon by himself, and I think it shows Chris by himself as well. But the "new" character has a team-mate from the looks of it. Can't tell if it's an Ashley type character though- someone who's completely useless.

new game should be able to be under 2 hours. i was hitting 2:30 playing solo. completely starting fresh.

ofcourse in a new game, infinite ammo is not an option.

WOW really? that is totally insane. We played the levels individually after finishing the game (ng+), so rocket launcher w/ inf ammo etc, and in coop we got 1:50, crazy to know that is possible to do that time in ng @.@ congrats!

It is. Obviously Solo is way slower, because the AI is soo terrible ^.^ Did you give the AI ally any weapons at all? I used to not even give her any of that (just healing stuff), because she kept hitting me in the back, really disturbing me Cheesy
