Resident Evil 4 speed runs (GCN)

I love YaBB 1G - SP1!

Can someone do an Assignment Ada speed run and possibly a Mercenaries speed run? I'm certain this will help many people with the speed runner's strategies. I haven't beaten it yet, so yeah.

I doubt a mercs run will be accepted here, because this is a speedrun site, so the fastest completion of a mercs stage would simply be surviving the initial two minutes (irregardless of kills or points), as getting time upgrades would defeat the purpose of a SPEEDrun.

As for A:Ada, I'd like to see a run, so, when you do beat it, I'd reccomend you try one. I think its been discussed before, but, as you can see, nobody has done one yet. I might try it once I finish my normal game run, depending on how much tape I have leftover.

The discussion's been had before. Even if you marathon ran all the Mercs stages, Radix has a bug up his ass about not allowing it. Which makes me think that all the Mario Kart vids should get the eff out, too, since it's the same basic damn thing. Time trials are time trials. Desu desu.

What? Mercenaries is score attack, not time attack. Unlike Mario Kart, the minimum time is trivial to reach - just don't get killed and don't pick up time extensions. That's why you won't see them on here.

Wow. You know, I had a lot of trouble there, going into the farm and hiding on the second floor in Village. I'm relatively pleased with how this one came out. Now, I take damage to save time, so don't you all start goin' "MISTAKE!" Alright? Alright.

For a while, before he finally linked me to the download, I thought he was refering to Mercenaries: Something Something of Destruction (PS2/ Xbox), the game where you blow crap up and stuff, appearantly Psycho assumes everyone crames RE4 down their throats 24/7.

Anyway, Mercenaries goes as far back as Resident Evil 3. Just so you know.
