I don't know much about this website and speedruns or anything, but I was wondering if people do speedruns of demos of games, the Resident Evil 2 Remake just got a 1-shot demo and I was wondering if I could submit a speedrun I did of it, the demo has a specific ending to it once you get to a certain spot in the story and I just thought it might be interesting to post my speedrun on here if possible

You can post such runs under "casual speedrunning" but since demo versions just tend to be the same game but a short snippet thereof, they're not accepted as separate speedrun categories. The same goes for unreleased alpha/beta versions generally. This is pretty much a global thing, not just this site.

If you do make this a thread about running that demo, I can move it to the appropriate sub-forum. Should I?

The fastest time I was able to beat the game on my xbox one is 3:24 on the in game timer at the end, I'm still trying to download the demo for my ps4 and my pc but until I am able to I challenge anybody to beat my time on Xbox One

I ended up beating my own time in the PC version if anybody wants to challenge me
