These discussions usually go in this thread I believe, but I like your taste in games to videotape!  Online multiplayer in fighting games is fun to watch.

edit: Oh, if you want you can add your YouTube page under Website in your SDA profile.
Thanks for the info slowbro,Im 1 of the top 50 players in the world on sf 2 HF my gamertag is seinfeld 101 I also have the number 1 spot for consectutive wins on xbox live sf 2.Im ranked 5th in the world on overall victories as well with nearly 11,000 wins and only 1,000 losses mostly coming from my first 2,000 online matches.Warning though most people on my xbox matches have microphones and they hate my guts so expect to hear some cussing when I get them in tick throws with honda or just all out brutilize them with chun li

I've merged this in with the Video thread.

Hmm, I think I know another major Xbox 360 Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting player.  His gamertag is SMQ, or I think now it's OG SMQ.  Maybe you'd know him.

Anyway, your statistics are obviously impressive.  Way way back my brother was a very good SFII player; too bad he doesn't have a 360 or you could play against him (though you'd probably win).
I think he quit playing ranked in 2008,I name who I think is top 5 players in the world on my GOD OF SF2 RLR profile on xbox 360.oskii H won a tourney crayfis put on and I beat him,I beat real decoy 24 matches to 7,onefathom,and sfIIprorush he has 14,000 wins I also beat him but he is very very tough it came down to the wire each match
I've linked to these before, but not recently, so here are my two speedruns (so far) that I have recorded for SDA but never made it onto SDA.

Me and My Katamari ILs (sort of)

The verifiers thought the gameplay quality was alright, but they thought the really weird way I divided up the game might confuse viewers.  FoominFan has been working on this game hard for months, and he could do soooo much better than this, but as far as I know he doesn't plan to record a MMK speedrun for SDA Sad

The Maw (XBLA) ILs

The post I linked to links both to my videos and royha3's superior videos.  Unfortunately, royha3 was content to just have his vids on YouTube.
DON'T WATCH THIS IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED BY STRONG LANGUAGE!

Some may already know it, but... It was just a matter of time until Mario gets mad...

There MANY cool videos ralationated with the videogames, and I hope you like the videos that I´ll post here Smiley

Challenge!

First, watch this video:

Okay, now sing back that song as fast as you can from memory

When I'm swamped with homework, I like to stall and distract myself with dumb little hobbies like this.  I would have speedrun an actual game during breaks, but that is usually more involved and takes more time to setup than rehearsing a song off the top of my head.  So, speedsinging it was.

I've attached my best recording to this post, called version 2 (as well as the second best attempt, which is about 5 seconds slower, called version 1).  It's about 45 seconds, or roughly half the time it took Yakko.  Thing is, I've definitely done this song faster than this, but this was the fastest-of-all-the-times-I-could-even-understand-what-I-was-saying.  That's kind of key to this.  You have to be intelligible for it to count.  Oh, and obviously, you don't really have to worry about actually 'singing,' because the melody will naturally drown under the symphony of rushed syllables spewing from your mouth.

In case you are wondering, it took me about a week to memorize the song, and then about two more to start speedsinging it near these speeds.  I practiced in the car sometimes, too.

I'm not sure if this is the best thread for this, but all those real-life-speedrunning threads seem to have been closed.  Anyway, feel free to try and beat my times.  Also, feel free to post other examples of your speed memorization (songs, pledges of allegiance, creeds, movie scenes, whatever).  Could be fun.

"United Stations, Canada, México, Panama..."

Well, this video made by recit0 is, for me, one of the best video of SSBM I´ve ever seen:

Know this is not a speed run, but I thought I'd post this anyway.  There's always so many videos about epic fail (I've even done one myself), what happens when you turn the tables and something happens that should not happen in the good sense?

Pulled out a NG 2 SNES Points Record, Snatched Victory out of the Jaws of Defeat!

Enjoy!
This had me crying.  I was a huge dreamcast kid/teen... whatever

Willing to teach you the impossible
This is not of a game, but I know we all have felt like this before, and this shows it in a great way.

Here's my video of Bonded Realities, a 360 Indie RPG that I think is really something special.
In the video I used a glitch that means no random fights early in the game, but the second boss kicked my kiester.

(edit: I just figured out why my movement was soooo messy in this video, or at least part of the reason.  I used a DVD recorder with a fraction of a second of lag and I was too lazy to connect the cable that goes straight from game system to TV Smiley )

And this belongs in Older Consoles Planning because....?
man ppl are touchy on this site. Sorry bro i thought becasue it was such a cool cover of an old console theme i would put it up. Thought it might make some ppl smile. Did u at least enjoy it
I think you should bother learning the rules of our site and learn how to respect other people on the forums rather than just complain about everyone being touchy.

Just sayin.
whew, tough crowd. I suppose ill look at the correct category to post but its not as if im looking to piss anyone off. Lol ijust hoipe someone likes this as much as i do, its such a sick cover. Can we stick to that? I get it, wrong forum but cmon, take a listen
I can understand accidentally posting in the wrong forum, that happens all the time, it's just annoying that you complain about people here being tough or touchy any time someone insinuates you're wrong about something. Cut it out if you don't wanna get on peoples' nerves. If you do, then you probably won't last long.
last long? man i dont want trouble i just found this website and i like it since i was speedrunning b4 i knew there was a community for it. No worries man im not trolling, ill be cool with ya. Smiley

We don't want any trouble either, but that's why we have these things called rules.  Like Paraxade said though, if all it was is starting a thread in the wrong board, then that's understandable.  But do please take 10 minutes of your time to read the rules and get to know the different sections of the forum and what their purposes are.  You'll get a lot better response and feedback if you do.
Fair enough Zyre, fair enough.
1-Up!
Everyone is right.  There is a thread for this.  I'm going to merge them together for you.

Umbrella Employee, do what Zyre says and read the rules and posting guidelines.  The way you're acting right now I'd say you're heading for a ban.  The SDA forum is a very structured place and that makes it easy to navigate and use.  If you don't understand, lurk more before posting.  People here aren't "touchy" so much as you've come in with no regard to the way things are done around here.
